England will play far better against teams who attack is where we can use our ability to counter-attack. How many times have Italy been awful in tournaments but manage to dig in and get to a Final.
It's not just for England, many Premier League teams really struggle to break down well-drilled teams who play a low block with a 5-4-1 formation

Probably the best thing that could happen. Now Bellingham and Foden don't have to play on top of each other and Southgate will be forced to play Palmer or Gordon. No doubt this will balance the team better and give Southgate the slap in the face he so very much needs.
