    All, maybe except Kramer, are supposed to have siblings.
    Elaine and Jerry have a sister each and George has a brother.
    Also, the actors playing George's and Jerry's fathers were replaced.
    Also, Kramer's name was originally Kessler in the pilot, but was corrected in a later season, in the episode that goes backward; where they all go to India for a wedding. At the end of that episode they show how Jerry and Kramer meet as Jerry is moving into the apartment and Kramer comes in to say hi. Jerry says, "you must be Kessler." Kramer then says, "it's Kramer actually."

      @sagarsaxena6318 Před 2 lety +4

      @@trapez77 Friends's "heart" is quiet pretentious and the show relies heavily on the joke after joke format. Rachel,Monica,Ross all crack jokes while organically it feels right only when Chandler is doing that else the jokes should've been more contextual. It's funny but not in the same way as "Seinfeld","Seinfeld" also takes the bigger risk of not siding with it's characters and constantly showing them in bad light while "Friends" takes the high road. Joey & Chandler leave a baby on the bus and then pick the wrong baby,Rachel gives a job to a good looking guy only coz he's good looking,off camera Joey throws the wooden leg of one of his girlfriends and never calls her back,etc. Clearly they are not good people. The ensemble is nice only to each other and that's what you see on camera so we keep going "aww". But it's just sanitization. "Friends" never owns up to it's character flaws unless it wants to make a joke out of it. "Seinfeld" 's humor on the other hand,is much more organic and it makes no claims of it's characters being 'nice'. They also take more risks inspite of being some years earlier than "Friends",with plotlines around homosexuals,Lesbian wedding,Nazis,etc.

Did you know that the Soup Nazi episode wasn't the first time Yeganeh was referred to onscreen? Rosie O'Donnell's character has a line about him in Sleepless in Seattle. 2 randumb SEINFELD FACTS!!!
    1st BIG one was that the actor is "the doorman" episode, (Larry.... something) is actually one of Jerry bestfriends in real life and he was going to play George! But like in "the Pitch" episode, the studio wanted a really good actor to be opposite of Jerry because he didn't have great acting chops like the same in the show! Lmado!
    2ND is Jerry's mom (actress) date James Dean for a lil while in real life.

    Julia Louis-Dryfuss was sitting at the writers table and they were trying to figure out how to resolve George and Susan’s storyline, and she blurted out, “Why don’t we just kill her?” I’m guessing the cast and crew after finishing that last episode were showing “restrained jubilation.”

    Favorite episodes were : "The Hot Tub" who would of imagined you can say SOB and Bastard so freely on TV and make it funny. Also "The Calzone" which the tip jar by the way was based on the Writers own experience at a local restaurant.

    Inchon Korea, 1950. I was the best cook Uncle Sam ever saw, slinging hash for the Fighting 103rd. As we marched north, our supply lines were getting thin. One day a couple of GI's found a crate, inside were 600 lbs of prime Texas steer. At least it once was prime. The use date was 3 weeks past, but I was arrogant, I was brash, I thought if I used just the right spices, cooked it long enough...I went too far. I over seasoned it. Men were keeling over all around me. I can still hear the retching, the screaming. I sent 16 of my own men to the latrines that night. They were just boys. Bobby Colby, all that kid wanted to do was go home. Well he went home alright, with a crater in his colon the size of a cutlet. Had to sit him on a cork the 18 hour flight home! Anyway....we delivered the bomb and I never touched a spatula again.
