The training that Job Center staff recieve, quite clearly makes them feel that they must be authoritarian towards the public. This intentionally adds to the feelings of worthlessness that people feel, when having to ask for help from the government, who work for the corporations pulling their strings, while controlling the abundant resources. This is a great audit. Hopefully it will help to get people to start to stand up and have their voices heard.

It's incredible how so many people throw themselves in front of a camera and complain about being filmed. I do wonder whether it's some sort of attention seeking behaviour. I absolutely loathe being filmed so I keep well away from photographers. The last thing I'd do is walk up to them and start a conversation. I find it works for me.

Not a very well run job centre. Information on the boards was displayed in a badly organised and haphazard way. A shame they weren’t as vigilant over the security of data as they were on trying to blame PTTP for noticing it!. When we meet Sam we see why. Totally ineffectual. Is it not better to video or take pictures on what's available to the public, to look at in your own time, rather than taking the literature home, wasting all that paper? DWP Central policy and procedures state you can take photos of the boards and leaflets, and you can record video and audio in the Jobcentre as long as you don't record their clients in private meetings.
It was bad enough you had to deal with the delinquent security guard and the hysterical desk worker…but Manager Tom, a total disappointment. Tom should have been reminded, he is a Public Servant working in a Public place and therefore, he can be filmed. They ALL need new jobs.

And as for "morons to ridicule", give me a single example (just one) of a member of the public being ridiculed in this, or any other video like this, never seen it myself.

DWP Central policy and procedures state you can take photos of the boards and leaflets, and you can record video and audio in the Jobcentre as long as you don't record their clients in private meetings.
It was bad enough you had to deal with the delinquent security guard and the hysterical desk worker…but Manager Tom, a total disappointment. Tom should have been reminded, he is a Public Servant working in a Public place and therefore, he can be filmed. They ALL need new jobs.

25:00 DWP Jobcentreplus, does not have a reasonable adjustments document / policy / procedure. I did a FOI for this exact document, DWP replied JBCP branches don't have one.
EASS states it is a legal requirement.

In fact there's a better argument that these people don't really care either way about being on camera because they've willingly walked into a building with numerous signs indicating they are being filmed on CCTV.
The CCTV footage isn't uploaded to someone's personal youtube channel for morons to ridicule in the comments section.
@@Fartman3000 Sure, it can be, it's a public record, you can make a freedom of information (FOI) request for that CCTV footage, it's a simple online form, the JobCentre is required to send you the data within 20 working days of the request, there's no cost, and then you're free to upload it to wherever you like, including _"someone's personal youtube channel"._
So, no, you're mistaken, the people entering that building know full well that they are being filmed, there are numerous signs telling them they are being filmed (this is a legal requirement) and that data, being public record, is freely available to the public (as outlined above).
And as for "morons to ridicule", give me a single example (just one) of a member of the public being ridiculed in this, or any other video like this, never seen it myself.
It's not necessarily a lie, she may genuinely believe that people do not want to be filmed. Technically it's an assertion and an unsupported assertion can and ought to be dismissed out of hand.
