    Fantastic video! I was in search for answers to the same problem you encountered! I’m a everyday user of BISSELL since Feb 2020. I leave my BISSELL on the charging station every time it is not in use. I had 2 beeping lights (same as you) called support and no questions asked they are sending me a new one! I recommend BISSELL to ALL my family and friends. There customer service was very friendly! I had the pleasure with a Carl from Ohio and kept a nice conversation going! He told me only 4 days till my new BISSELL arrives! Thanks for the new advice and once again Great video!

      It could be caused by the dirty water sensors having dirt or debris on them causing a false reading. You can try wiping off the gold sensors on the dirty water bin. There are 4 sensors, 2 on the dirty water bin lid and inside on the top of where the dirty water bins is placed in the machine. Hopefully this helps.

    Hello, Thank you so much for all your tips. I have a question, I just recently bought this machine and I notice in the middle of my cleaning when I clean the brush roll on self cleaning option and then continue to clean again right afterwards it leaves a lot of water on the floor. Do you have any suggestions on that? I usually do that because the roll gets dirty with a lot of pet hair and it sometimes gets clogged with pet hair on the bottom which even after I unclog it there’s still dirty water that it releases on the floor after. Overall I love the machine. Thank you

    • @MesseswithMichelle
      @MesseswithMichelle  Před 3 lety +1

      There could be a clog inside the hose preventing suction during the cleaning process. Before the second cleaning cycle, try dumping the dirty water and check the hose for any obstructions and run the cycle again.There could also be dirty water still in the hose after cleaning. Do you have any other tips or tricks to solve the suctioning problem? Mine just seems to not be suctioning up the water really good at all but when I do the cleaning process it sucks up the water fine. But when I’m cleaning the tank never seems to be filling up.

    • @MesseswithMichelle
      @MesseswithMichelle  Před 3 lety

      You can check for clogs inside the hose for obstructions causing loss of suction. The brush roller could be over saturated not allowing strong suction. There are two small prongs behind the brush shield check to see if the holes are operating by pressing the trigger to see if water is coming out. If there isn’t a lot of water there could be a clog in the holes causing less water on the floor during the cleaning process. I hope one of these tips helps with the problem.

      You can place the Crosswave on the docking station for 30 seconds, remove it from the station and try powering it on again. If placing the Crosswave back on the docking station doesn’t clear the error I would recommend contacting Bissell to let them know what you are experiencing. Th two red bars could indicate an internal error code.

    • @MesseswithMichelle
      @MesseswithMichelle  Před 3 lety

      Hi Jennifer, the red container light indicates the dirty water tank is full and needs to be dumped. The machine will automatically turn off when the water reaches the full level. If the tank is empty and the light still comes on, trying wiping the gold sensors off on the tank. If it still occurs try rinsing the filter really well, let it dry and put back into the machine. Hopefully this helps to get your machine going.

    Hello Michelle, I had a question I notice that my Bissell is leaving water on the floor but when I wipe it I notice that water is dirty. Am I pretty much mopping my house with dirty water? What could be going on? My water is super dirty every time I use it. I use it every day.
    I will try not using the spray as much tonight to see if it make a difference but just wanted to see if this was something normal that the machine is letting out dirty water

    • @MesseswithMichelle
      @MesseswithMichelle  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Blenda, the roller could be over saturated and needs to be switched out with a fresh roller. I run into the same issue when my floors are really dirty and have a lot of dog hair in the brush roller. I will have to switch out or self clean the roller in between to avoid dirty water leaking out. The self cleaning option is great for the rollers but I also periodically give the brushes a really deep clean. I soaked the brushes in warm water and a bit of carpet cleaner. Also, using a mild dish soap rinse the filter after each cleaning. I hope this helps.
