omg...I've had this item for a year and didn't know about self cleaning...brilliant!
I love my new Bissell and it does NOT scare any of my 8 Ragdoll kitties BUT it does do an amazing job cleaning up after them!
Really helps with wood flooring
It cleans tile floors that look like wood very well. I am most pleased. But the dogs' hair wrapped around the wheel on the brush. I have two heavily shedding dogs - Golden and Cavalier King Charles. I will have to vacuum with another floor product and then use the Bissell Crosswave Cordless MAX for mopping. The mopping job the MAX does is worth the trouble!
I love this machine.
My self cleaning button was so hard to push at first and now does not work at all. Is there a way to replace it?
Seems like there’s a lot of issues .? Thinking I should pass on it now..
I do all this and more. Any tips on getting this or any Bissell to work more than a year?
I'm 70 years old with a bad back and I've had my product for 3 months and only used it a few times. There is no power now. I called customer service and they told me to try some things but it does not work. Money back is only 60 days even though I've only used it a few times. I need to find a box and get FedEx to pick it up and return it before they will send me a new one.
She would not change her opinion or would not help me in any way.
I would never buy anything from them again.
I get an error after putting my machine back together, HELP!

Hey guys, I just got this machine on today. It was not soooo gorgeous but good enough. One thing I want to ask cos I don’t know if it is normal or something wrong with the machine: the base slot of my machine is always wet with dirty things after autocleaning. Is it fine? Txs!
Yes that’s “normal”. After the self cleaning you would need to also clean the tray… there’s a lot of cleaning involved with this vacuum
They call it self cleaning but you need to remove the gunk that builds up in the water tank hole and brush unit. Yuck! Th gunk gets packed in and you will need to buy a small brush to get it out.
What about all the hair that wraps around the brush head?
Sweep the floor if there is excess hair on the floor

I usually use my normal vacuum first and then follow after with the crosswave. No streaking, hair residue, and the floors are sparkling after!
How do I take off the handle after it has been clicked in.
My tank keeps saying full, but it's empty and dry

I just bought this last night! I drove to 5 stores and finally I got it!
May I ask, why does the water tank leak? I’m trying to fill it with water but there are 2 tiny holes were water keeps escaping. Any help would be appreciated. I just noticed, Bissell isn’t very responsive on their own channel huh? This part scares me when I’ve just bought the product. Thanks

make sure you are putting the cap on properly. First time I used it the tank leaked like heall, but after taking off the cap and reinstalling it no problems
Seems there are too many BAD issues with this machine and NO RESOLUTION!
I'll stick with what I have, one floor cleaner I call it a "kangaroo" becauseof the old commercial (can't remember if Bissell or other manufacturer) for over 20 years and the heavy Bissell carpet cleaner I've had for, maybe, 7 years. They both work and at 70 years old, I can still lift them!
BISSELL CROSSWAVE CORDLESS MAX have bad design. broke after a year. bad battery. waste of money to buy this item
