    I worked with industrial tires for several years when I was younger. You might be able to section that damage to that tire, but it is in too rough of shape in general that is really it just a “May Pop!”. The section repair would cost more than what the tire is worth, plus downtime! You are right. 100%. I felt that was how you were treating that in the first place when I first noticed it. Keep on doin what you’re doin Chris! You know your stuff!!!
    Stay safe, Eh!

    Is that blue clay coming out of the pond area ? [shudders] That stuff redefines "nasty" in all conditions and situations. When dry it makes concrete seem soft. When wet it makes quicksand seem friendly.

    That building pad sure looks purrdy! Would love to be the contractor setting the building on it . Would running the compactor in the borrow pit reduce future sinking? Or would the compactor just disappear into the muck. Greeting from Canada where it is currently 19 F with 2" of snow.

    • @letsdig18
      @letsdig18  Před 4 lety +1

      Dozers are made to grade going forwards, back dragging should really only be used to lightly pull some material back and smooth out track marks

    • @ROTTK9
      @ROTTK9 Před 4 lety +1

      looking at the end results, it might for that part of the job, be faster to push than pull, but there is always more than one way to de-fur a feline so if back-dragging was done it just did not make it in the video.
