  • While we're getting ready to begin real work on the 42 acre property, and thinking about clearing large areas, build paths and roads, and potentially improve the 1 mile road leading to the property, we decided a bulldozer was a good investment. I found this old JD 750 for a great price and jumped on it. Here I am taking delivery and bringing it up to the property.

Nice machine. Always drop your blade to the ground when you get out of machine..

Just found yer channel and good luck on yer adventure! Rooting fer ya! Hystat crawlers are expensive so keep yer fluids good! She looks like she was worked so my advice is do not over work it. A set of sweeps and woods guarding is highly recommended! Nothing wrecks comfort like the woods! Cheers from Santa Cruz Ca

@@Jdigger4130 thanks for all the advice. Will definitely check all the fluids regularly. Still learning, but enjoying the process. 👍

I hope you got a good deal on it, $25000 or less, you're definitely going to need undercarriage, pads are definitely beat to death and the sprockets. But if you just plan on getting rid of it after the house is done i wouldn't put anything in it, run it and sell it, to bad i just sold a 750k for $39,000 with brand new undercarriage. I would have trucked it for free within 200 miles of fort worth TX

@@TheJudgeGTO Thanks, I know it’s beat up, but I paid only $16k, and I think I can bend and weld most of the pads back into shape and weld the grousers to hold them. Sprockets are like $750 each I think. I think I should be able to get it to near 100% for 25 with some elbow grease.

@@offgrid101not a bad deal, new 22" 40 link single bar track and sprockets will be around 11k and the stick is an easy rebuild around 800 ish on the generous side. You didn't get hurt any on the deal. Dozers a rock's are not friends that's what bends the grouser's. Good luck bud I hope you enjoy your new toy. The resale value on the C's is well worth what you paid, no DEF no complicated computer issues. I have two 750L's that have been at the dealership a few times for the same issue. The new electric shift solenoid is garbage.

@@TheJudgeGTO thanks. Yeah, up here in NH it’s all rocks. That’s why they call it the granite state. Also why I’m gonna try to repair before I replace.
