True, if players wants a full time (8 hour workday) admin on and atleast 1 proper java dev (8 hour workday), you'd need to bring in about 5000 USD before taxes at minimum + the server cost. (And that java dev hourly salary would be shit compared to industry standards).
The problem with many of these P2W servers is that they go to far. Gambling and outright predatory tactics. I honestly don't give a shit if you sell stupid things like 5 /homes instead of the standard 1-3 or /craft. But when you start selling gear outright, ingame cash, claim blocks, unbans and gambling stuff? etc etc Nah bruh fuck that shit.
People look at a minecraft server and think "Omg he pulls in 2000 USD so much so greedy". Like no, no! NOOOOOOOOO!
2000 USD before taxes is fucking nothing in the western world. Remember the dude likely has atleast 250-500 USD server cost at minimum too.
Now if the dude brought in like 4000 USD as the owner after taxes, spent like 1000 USD on a fulltime java dev before taxes (basically slavery salary for being a java dev) and then 250 USD on the server? Now that would be greedy.

You should get a mod that can automate the command to pay people (it would just fill in the names automatically)
Idk if something like that exists, but it doesn't sound too difficult to code
I think he's tried using one in the past but it didn't work so they had to manually pay people
the most plugins with /pay command have a cooldown, so thats not possible

They caught me and said “Learn what p2w is, kid” Their excuse was that you can get a crate key by voting 800 times 😂😂😂. Have you guys considered setting up a dupe on a server and duping enough to crash the economy, then hiding the dupes in several different places for like a month then coming back later to do distribution? then if they roll back the server, you can just go to a different stash, and to get it all, they'd have to roll back like a month to get it tall gone.

I used to play applemc and I met one of the old owners on the melon server, and around three weeks later like three people told me that they sold or gave it to someone else so that’s probably why the owners keep changing
