As Indonesian, I could confirm that we never eat nasi goreng using chopstick 😂 we usually using spoon.

@@sel88qkeliru ka. variasi "cendol" itu bisa ditemuin di hampir semua negara SEA (thai, filipina, viet, malaysia, indo). bahan dasarnya sama, cuma bentukannya agak beda, beberapa ada yg modelnya slice tipis tipis (kayak kembang tahu), ada yg diiris lonjong kecil dll. Kuahnya puh sama, dominan pake gula merah/gula putih buat manisnua

Indonesian people also use spoon, fork, chopstick, and even directly with hands. but we almost never use chopstick for nasi goreng/fried rice. actually quite a lot of people here that can't use chopstick, and even those who can some would still find it hard to eat fried rice with chopstick.
If u think Indonesian food is good, u need to came to indonesia and try the original taste. 10-100 times better, it will kick your tastebuds and it will make u think it making sense why Dutch colonized Indonesia for 350 years and make VOC the richest "company" ever untill today
Agree, and they have to raise their spice tolerance a bit because once you're used to indonesian spicy, it really enhance the food's flavor and experience.

Nasi Lemak is actually Malaysian: we have a bit different one, we call it Nasi Uduk, it's much more creamy than Nasi Lemak.

Their reaction is so pure because in western food they didn't add so much spice when cooking like people in Indonesia or Asian dishes that's why when u traveling into Asia u must try at least one or two different dishes from each country 😊

The martabak texture in that video does'n look like what I ate here, the texture there looks like kinda hard and there's not enough topping,, but here it's melted with chocolate and cheese and taste like heaven

Something unique about Indonesia is sweet soy sauce or we called kecap, in other countries there is only salty soy sauce, so it has a unique and delicious taste.
those are the driest and most dense martabak manis i've ever seen. it should be fluffy and slathered with wijsman butter.

Nice video, but correction for some points: it's not "Nasi Lemak", but we call it "Nasi Uduk". And Indonesian use spoon and fork for most dishes. Not chopstick. Especially when eating any "nasi" dishes

I appreciate the efforts of this video maker in introducing Indonesian food, but:
1. Indonesians don't use chopsticks, we don't eat fried rice using chopsticks
2. Try to serve gado gado like its original form in Indonesia, vegetables and peanut sauce mixed together, not separated
3. Nasi Lemak is Malaysian food, not Indonesian.
Try to be more careful when making videos, and try to ask for opinions from native Indonesians so that mistakes don't happen.

Gado-gado should be spicier, savory and sweet.
At 1:11 you show a video of nasi goreng kambing and egg after that you serve nasi goreng with chicken and egg, the taste is different because the seasoning is also a lot of difference.

let say kerupuk is cracker made various ingredient such as fish, shrimp, rice etc
That was NOT nasi lemak. It was NASI UDUK (savory rice cooked with coconut milk, served with various side dishes AS YOU LIKE)
