  • The Silver King Fire in Utah doubled in size to over 10,000 acres with zero containment on Sunday, and is exhibiting extreme fire behaviour.
"There's definitely cause for concern," said Natalie Hunt of the Fire Service.
Engines, crews, aircraft, and dozers were working in excessive heat conditions to limit the fire's spread, but conditions were challenging firefighting efforts.
Governor Spencer Cox has urged residents to stay informed through local news and official updates about evacuations.

Fire seasons are getting longer, hotter and drier and extreme wildfires are increasing due to Climate Change.
