Park Fire scorches 380,000+ acres, becomes California's 5th largest blaze

  • Officials say the Park Fire in Northern California has burned more than 380,000 acres, making the growing wildfire the 5th largest in California history.
    The fire is burning across four different counties: Butte, Plumas, Shasta, and Tehama - forcing evacuation orders for more than 4,000 people.
    Close to 5,600 firefighters are working to get the fire under control. It has already destroyed more than 190 structures and is less than 20% contained.
