I think Jonah is the most underrated actor in Hollywood. He’s barely scratched the surface of his talent, but doesn’t get enough great roles.

This Is The End is one of the best comedies of all time. Literally has every great comedic talent of our generation in it.

I think he’s my favorite in Superbad but The Wolf Of Wallstreet was his most gripping performance. Especially the scene where he’s choking. It’s really hard to take that kind of fear confusion and sadness toward a friend, then after fake fear and panic when choking.
My favorite one is when he plays as a KKK member in Django, hes super funny
In that scene Tarantino has shown that he could easily direct/make better comedies than most people associated with that genre. He just doesn't intend to do it. But I laughed histerically. Brilliant movie!

Jonah Hill is an actor that doesn’t get enough credit he deserves. I feel he should have won an Supporting Actor Oscar for The Wolf of Wall Street. Love Superbad! Plays that role so well. War dogs is also an amazing performance from him

get him to the greek is possibly the best film ever made. it's definitely underrated.
I know it was just an honorable mention but I loved him in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Whenever there was an awkward scene, he just brought an additional layer of awkwardness that made it perfect.

So I'm guessing this was made before War Dogs ?! That would be number 2 for me while The Wolf Of Wall Street is still number 1 most definitely. The roles are very similar yet different which makes them so great. Jonah Hill was very close to earning his 3rd oscar nomination with War Dogs. Very close!!! He did make into the golden globes however.

I will say that Moneyball and Wolf of Wall Street are his best overall performances, but I still think that his performance in This Is the End is one of the funniest I've ever seen.

I had this idea of a Splash sequel set 20 years after Alan and Madison left NY, Jonah plays Freddie son from one of his many affairs. Hill's inherited the family business but kid doesn't know how to handle the business. When the pressure gets too much for him he attempts suicide but is rescued by a super strong mermaid who unlike Madison she's a warrior and wants to return to her home. When she rescued Hill's character her treasure (a jewel or something of that nature) is accidentally left with him making her trapped with him. They search for it and on the way fall in love, she learns to let lose and let herself be love and he learns to relax and take up charge. Something lkke that.
Hopefully one day, instead of a nomination, he wins an Oscar.

Not sure if this video was made just as War Dogs was coming out but I think that performance by Jonah is extremely underrated. The movie got a bad rap too IMO. He played such an incredible antagonist. He’s one of the best actors of our generation.
