  • We drained the oil out of our taxi while it was still running and made a cup of tea. Filled it with WD40, power steering fluid, honey, and milk. And then drove it around until it broke down. Why? Because science.

definitly, it still cranks and still seems to have decent compression just alot of internal resistance, putting som engine cleaner in there trying to crank it a bit and than some fresh oil would probably get it to a level where it would run again, these old cars dont care about no oil pressure, if it spins it runs xD
as an example watch that video where they drain oil out of 3 cars and the honda just keeps running along for like 5 min with no oil at all even throwing a rod and still running for a few seconds

It would probably be better to add any type of oil if you was stranded in the middle of no where although I can't imagine many people carry other types of oil with them. I'd recommend anybody to at least carry a 1L bottle of the correct engine oil and check it regularly.

You should try this with the all famous PowerUp additive for oil... fill it then remove it all and see how far the car goes lol we got 150km and the old Nissan still ran 😂

Don't scrap it, I feel an engine swap is in order.
If you were in Australia I would say an LS (because that seems to be all we do, even into mx5s), but surely you can find a high powered bmw engine laying around somewhere?

You can't use regular milk! Everybody knows that you use chocolate milk, and you should use almond milk on higher mileage motors at that!

I really like the stuff you do don't get me wrong. It's fun to watch and such but I'm kinda curious if you also clean up that oil spillage afterwards. I mean it was quite substantial. No offense, but just for the peace of mind and generally for the environment I would like to know. I mean we only have 1 earth you know. :D
Ps: please no hate. I'm just asking.
Could also be a good episode like how you go about the stuff you break. Like where is it going and such. :)

I like these formats and your work, but come on guys. We don't have to be Greta, but this much oil spilled on dirt in the nature during the oil changes? Like guys, just put some paper or plastic or anything underneath it and catch it. That is not too hard to do and makes a big difference. This just messed up the whole video for me.
