I also take a picture of my luggage tag and set it as my screen saver on my phone for the duration of the cruise incase I loose my phone on the ship if someone finds it. They will know what cabin it goes to.

I printed out twice as many luggage tags and put them on the inside of our luggage, as well. That way, even if the outside tag holder somehow got separated from our luggage, they could open it up and still see which room our luggage belonged to. (I've done this with airport luggage for years.)

One thing I don't remember hearing in the videos, was about the debarkation line. Having passports saved us so much time! The passport "line" was non existent. We walked right off the ship, through customs, and to our ride. The line for people who had only a birth certificate was crazy long! I can't imagine how long it took them to get through customs.

My husband and I cruised for the first time with our family in 2018. We didn’t have to do any of the paying or research prior to booking. We just got our luggage packed and got on the ship! He nor I could even remember any of the process that we DID go through. So when we started preparing for our August 13-19 cruise… we were honestly pretty lost! I found y’all’s channel pretty early on in the preparation stage and I’m so happy I did! We were FULLY prepared for the cruise all because of the two of you. Thank you for all of your tips. I will forever be subscribed just because I know I’m still not a genius or seasoned cruiser and there may be more tips I need by the next cruise and I know y’all gave the best advice! ❤️

Took my first cruise back in June on Carnival Valor. My mom and sister had a balcony. I loved sitting on their balcony at night, but it was SO hot in their room during the day, even with 2 fans and the curtains closed. I enjoyed sitting on lido at night just as much as being on their balcony. I LOVED my interior. It stayed cold the whole cruise and it was DARK no matter what time day/night and I’m so ok with that lol

I just returned from my first cruise! Had such a great time!! We were on the Carnival Horizon! Unfortunately, I think I caught Covid 3 days before the end of the trip. I had third party travel insurance through Allianz but was too sick to go see the medic. I had an awesome time prior to getting sick! Thank you Lynette and Stanley for your extremely helpful tips. Made our trip fun and memorable without the stress😊

It is worth noting the dining room limit doesn't apply to appetizers. If you want to sample just order multiple appetizers; they are smaller than at typical restaurants.

So we booked a cruise for paradise in February. Currently have an interior room on riviera deck. We’ve received an upgrade offer ($50) to empress deck. Do you think it’s worth it? I hear that deck is popular but the room they would move us to would be right beneath the dining room and right next to elevators. I’m a light sleeper so I would rather be somewhere quiet than “convenient” lol
It’s a gamble. The dining room isn’t always loud but there’s always movement above

I am not a 1st time cruiser, but my aunt & younger sister are. I have booked a cruise on Carnival Valor in January 2024 & I will be traveling with my 76 year old aunt who has Multiple Sclerosis & limited mobility that will require her to use assistive devices, including but not limited to a motorized scooter or wheelchair. I informed Carnival that there will be 3 of us in the room & my aunt is also claustrophobic. I wanted an accessible room to accommodate her assistive devices. The room I have been assigned is an interior but the picture shows a window. We are in room 1002 on the Panorama deck aft. Will that room accommodate all 3 of us?
