I'm sorry but you're wrong, the Jews including Christ and his apostles had what we call the Old testament scriptures, and because Christianity almost for sure grew out of Essene Judaism, creators of the Dead Sea scrolls, they actually had many more scriptures than just our Old testament.

I'm Baptist and we don't recite it but were taught creed is correct but use " Holy Christian church " NOT "catholic" church. We believe catholics pray to humans eg Mary other saints and angels eg Michael which is specifically forbidden by first the Bible eg 1st and 2nd commandment. Holy catholic universal church is apostate and a concept conceived by those who seek to establish a new world order which is the anti Christ system. Also no man out side your own dad and God is to be called "father".
Obviously the Christians at the time, early christians, we are talking about 100AD to 600AD, those Christians were Catholic. Otherwise the apostles creeds would not say "I believe in the Catholic Church. If the Church was Baptist, then it would say "I believe in the Baptist Church. You may disagree with me but history disagrees with you. Go try to look for any Baptist church in 100AD, you will not find it. They did not call themselves Baptist and they did not believe in baptist theology like faith alone and Bible alone. You have been brainwashed and deceived with your beliefs connecting the CC and the new world order. I used to believe in that when I was a teenager and knew nothing about christian history.
1. Look up the root word for "Catholic". It means "Universal" as in unity.
2. Catholics turn to saints to ask for intercessory prayer. You can do better.
3. "No man outside your own dad and God is to be called father".

Apostles creed is about 500 years older than the Catholic Church. They are a product of the catholic church (lowercase matters here). They are old enough that some actual apostles would have known at least some of the phrasing. First 5 major creeds predate the papacy as Catholics practice it today.

@@Mr11ESSE111 you should check out what catholic means in context. It simply means universal church. The Catholic church as a entity with a pope didn't come about until about 350 years after the apostle's creed.
obviously apostle creed was maded by catholic church and priests in it because it wont be mention and glorified Catholic church in it and Jesus never mention it just like original apostles because it doesnt exists and they never follow some world religion with priests @@jdavidteem
