I have synaesthesia and a lot of the sounds used in Matrix & Futurebound music is quite a strong synaesthesia image. It’s interesting how each sound on its own produces a different colour or image and how the pitch also changes it as well

Really decent production every track from these guys. For me, Matrix’s brother (Optical) is the best engineer of our generation in D&B at least. Would love the chance to sit in on a session with them, the tips you would pick up would be insane

Sleepwalk is an amazing LP. But appears to make a living out of DNB you have to make sure your music shifts units.
Ppl who remember the groundbreaking early stuff now spend the weekend at home due to old age instead of stomping in clubs. Youngsters who go out now prefer to livestream themselves trout pout flossing to music made for apple adverts. Hence the old heads now need to make music that sounds like it was made for an apple ad.
