@@Nokomak If that's how you perceive it than sure, but the song is describing the fall of Lucifer as comparison for humanity. More specifically those who reject religion.
We all know the bassline is the pinnacle of badassery, but I think the drums are also great and add to the song's very unique feel. It's like a very fresh Black Sabbath.

It honestly makes me sick sometimes how good they are. They don't sound like what I normally listen to, but I can't stop loving every goddamned track they produce.
I love this band for two reasons,
one: It's fucking awesome,
two: I love seeing people argue over which band it resembles the most in the comment section

I normally don't get into bands who wear masks n shit at all... but these guys are fucking awesome. They aren't just using a theme and masks to get by as mediocre song writers/singers/musicians... they are actually making great music and just hiding their identities.. smart move..

I don't hear the grunge or the 80s in this specific song, but Ghost has put out plenty of stuff from their Prequelle album which is 80s flavoured. Tobias Forge himself compared this song to Led Zeppelin.

Got my tickets for House Of Blues, Dallas in October. My son, Ryan, just turned 11 and this will be his first big rock show! I am beyond excited for him!! Saw them last year at HoB also and they did not disappoint, it was a perfect show. This is a dream come true for me - my boy's first rock show! Life doesn't get any better than that, my friends. Stay hungry, fuckers.

Mer Bathory I guess, seems like different fantasy stories/mythological universes talk about hell time being faster than earth time. Though sharing hell would keep them at the same pace. The part I found strange was that the age gap is too small between them. But I guess they don't follow earth birth rules.
