I always forget just how good Majesty is and almost skip it every time, but end up saying "nah, I'll just listen to it" and get blown away again
At least for me, that change in chord progression in the chorus gets me every time
This just means your brain has no idea how to listen to music.
Had this band existed in the 80's I'm absolutely sure they'd be considered an untouchable classic

My mom used to always play meliora in the car while driving.
I was about 9 years old.Their songs are comforting and nostalgic to me.
Now I'm 16 and they're one of my favourite bands in the world, I love everything about them and they have always been with me.
I play Meliora in my car all the times with my two 5 and 3 years old daughters, I hope it becomes their favorite band as well when they grow up :)
my dad used to listen to ghost when I was younger , now I'm also 16 , and while listening to all their songs ... I realized I already knew some of them , god this is one of the best group of metal

I don't know exactaly, but, have you noticed that the kind of melodies in their music is somehow moody?
It doesn't look like a song, to me , it sounds more a calling than music itself, like a ritual, i don't know why, the first time i ever listen to this song , wow, it's unexplainable , it takes me to some kind of dark haunted graveyard surrounded by dark spirits.
There is always time, Angel of Light. Just saw them a week ago, it is a brilliant burst of 2 hour, 16-song ecstasy.

In my opinion the best song on the album...feels like a fusion of Deep Purple, Dio and Type O Negative.
Yes I am confused why reviewers rate this song as least fave when this is by far the best structured song in the whole album with so much replay value in my opinion.

Ghost are multi dimensional, This song spanned from the sixties,(The Who) Sabbath. Then Jethro Tull and Zeppelin. Maybe its just me but there's no limit to what these guys are becoming. Each song is a masterpiece.

I love how with ghost you can always easily tell what era it's from just from Papa's skull paint on the album cover (and also the general vibe of the song)
I'm still very new to Ghost, but I find it strange (in a good way) that they've combined what are clearly Satanism-inspired lyrics with a sound that's more like 80s prog. It's a really refreshing combination.

His Holy Wood album is also as grand and elegantly dark as Meliora, though it is a time piece so Ghost is definetly more fitting for right now. I know what you mean by nt wanting the same beat and growling over and over.

Unfortunatley, I was introduced to Ghost through Facebook messaging by a friend, and declared in those first 30 seconds of Year Zero that it was stupid. I love the Beatles but ABBA is the GOAT for me personally, Tobias is the best songwriter from Sweden these days and i reckon when Ghost releases their last album (hopefully 50 years from now, or similar) Ghost will rival both those legendary bands discographies

IMO this is the best song they've made yet, the harmony throughout the entire song is amazing, the sinister vibe is just right, and the theatric build ups at the guitar solo ad the end are masterful. One of the most well composed pieces of music to come out of the metal genre imo.

same here dude. i think the modern rock and metal scene needed a band like this. i love the chugs and screams as much as the next man, but these guys really bring something refreshing to the table. they recreate that soul and feeling of the eighties in every song but still manage to stay original, unique and pretty heavy. i'm really looking forward to what they'll give us next.

I keep coming back to this as the best speaker/bass crossover test I've ever heard. The song is my favorite on Meliora, but the mix is impeccable across most music
I sing this in my head all day long. It was hard day at work, all day walking, standing...My mom and I cleaned the garage, and it all went easier with this tune in my head.

One has to admit that there is a enormous hype around Ghost from the beginning till now through, but in my opinion there is no other band which deserves it as much as Ghost! The new album will be spectacular from first to last!

.... best metal and most original band to come around in decades. At 46... I f'n LOVE this bands music. Amazing, They broke down walls for this 'genre' of metal... while inventing their own sound. Refreshing. 3 thumbs up.
