    What's the volume on this like when you're driving normally, at low speed and on the motorway? I'd love a nice exhaust but don't want to become the neighbourhood yobbo and don't want to drive myself (or more likely my girlfriend) mad on long motorway drives

    • @shizukesajdm
      @shizukesajdm  Před 3 lety

      Normal driving: not too bad if you keep the revs low actually. Cold start: if you wake up early for work like me, i don’t recommend it. Motorway drives: terrible. But, you do get a silencer with it that plugs into the 4” tip which can completely solve this. If this is your only car, then think carefully. Good luck and let me know what you decide to do! 😋👍🏻

    • @MrJonnycm
      @MrJonnycm Před 3 lety +1

      @@shizukesajdm Don't get up too early for work so cold starts not an issue. Motorway would be the big one I think. I'll need to see if I can find a video of one with the silencer on to see if that would be worth the cost/effort

    • @shizukesajdm
      @shizukesajdm  Před 3 lety +2

      @@MrJonnycm Trust me, I put the silencer in for a month after I sold the car because I needed to do motorway runs to work and back. It makes a massive difference! And then if you want a fun weekend blast, 2 bolts to remove it.

    • @namelesshorsey
      @namelesshorsey Před 3 lety +1

    • @shizukesajdm
      @shizukesajdm  Před 3 lety

      Also, it will be quieter with a standard cat rather than a sports cat and if you want it quieter still, use the stock resonator and not the Japspeed one. This way you’re only installing an axle back. The Japspeed resonator is almost a straight pipe.

    Which transmission is better for IS 200, manual or automatic?

    • @shizukesajdm
      @shizukesajdm  Před 3 lety +2

      @@tobinkuzwao4140 Well it’s completely subjective. I’ve only had a manual and I really enjoyed the way it drove. You’ll have to try both and see. As for power, I think they can handle around the same amount of power, around 300-350hp MAX.
