I know the 3rd generation wasn’t perfect, but in my opinion, the first 2 generations were extremely dark and while I agree that they both explored and tackled a lot of issues, they didn’t give us the light at the end of the tunnel feeling the way this generation did. The first generation had the best writing, the second had the best characters and this one had an exceptional balance of both (even if it went downhill after a while). In this one, we see and we know what happens with all of characters in the end, and we get that feeling that even though we all feel alone with what we go through in life, in the end, there is hope. ❤️
third generation is so underrated.

i rewatched it twice again when i was 20 & 23
it really isnt that bad, the frankie storyline drama makes it seem horrible but the other characters are pretty good, its entertaining but not over dramatic as the first two generations
theyre the most realistic of the 3 generations and i like that
give it another chance with an open mind and no expectations that you might hold after watching the drama filled first 2 generations
no its abseloutly shit the character development is shit the love triangle is boring and Franky was ruined one of the most interesting characters plus it took soooo long for the introduction to be in place.....
Gen 3 is dog shit
It's actually kind of refreshing to not get a full-blown sex scene in every single episode with Gen 3. Of course, they still happen. But they're nowhere near as frequent or as graphic as Gens 1 and 2.

RIP Gracie. Also, the novel that’s written right in between the summer before series 6 starts is great and covers what happens in between.

Honestly, too bad he didn't receive more screen time, but he wasn't as good of a recurring character like Posh Kenneth was in Gen 1. Posh Kenneth was almost actually as important as the main cast, and he was even on a lot of the public coverage.

It’s sad that the writer actually kind of made me change her character. He was away during series 5, where he went off to help write Skins US. I guess that’s where he took the approach to series 6 when he came back.

What do you mean? Every gen throughout the show literally lives their own lives, apart from a few main characters like Pandora and Effy, who made it from Gen 1 into Gen 2.
