It really kills me that I didn't recognize his voice when hearing his narration work, but it's nice to get some answers as to why that is. His VO is amazing, and I do really enjoy his acting as well. Underappreciated I think.
He narrated Death At Jamestown and I kept thinking either someone mistyped the name or augmented his voice for some reason. Just like with this interview: Does not sound like him at all. Even the brief commercials he did his voice seemed more baritone. Very successful man. Handsome too 😉
Liev Schreiber is by far my favorite Voice over narrator. He also did both Pumping Iron 25th anniversary edition shorts Raw Iron and Beyond the Iron. They were amazing!!! He also did some really good boxing stories on HBO *The One about Riddick Bowe and Andrew Golata was a genuine Masterpiece!* (Golata was winning but kept punching Bowe in the balls during the match, got disqualified, got a rematch, and hit Bowe in the balls so hard with a 3 punch combo, that it literally started a race war... And sent Riddick Bowe to the hospital)
Damn...I'm so glad that Dan asked him or said that he sounds VERY different than his regular voice!! Bc back in 2007 hard knocks ..I had no idea it was Paul Rudd who narrated that season..but hearing it again..u can kinda tell it was him...but had to really listen for it..

He narrates the documentary "Civilization." Totally different speaking voice for that too. Very clear, but hypnotically soothing as well. A great voice. Should do narration for school lectures.

It’s all about the mic, mix and post. From what I hear it sounds like they raise his voice up an octave and EQ the bass of his voice.

Liev Schreiber is not just a good actor his a good narrator as well especially in HBO 24/7
