Finally, a drying method without hairdryer! I actually don't have one of those. This is a big help!!
Hi there, I'm glad to hear! The oven works great! I tried with Hair dryer once and some dust came out, It wasn't great 😣 Oven works well, and if you ever need a dryer I recommend you to use heat gun that made for crafts ☺️

Thanks for sharing this beautiful flower and amazing technique. But I would recommend for the way you use to soften this rice paper, no need to use warm water. You can use ordinary cold water even in cold weather so that the paper will not too soft and easy to tare.

This is extremely beautiful. So delicate, and natural looking. Have you ever put one of those on a cake?(maybe a smaller version) If so, how did you put the petals together(without the wire)?
Hi there, This one can also use as a cake topper, you can make the stem part shorter (I uses bamboo stick) and cover the wire with fondant and place it on the cake. Check out my recent flower video, I made it without wire. But you need something to hold the petals, you'll need a stick you can use.

Hi Mano, I use the oven in low temperature to dehydrate, you can also use the heat gun or dry it overnight or some people have dehydrator, that would work too!

How long can it be kept?
Rice paper flowers can kept very long! You can keep it for months, but some colors can fade a little after month, If you keep it in a airtight container the color might stay longer.

Hi there, suggested temperature is very low, it's mostly for drying in the oven, wires should be safe to stay in the oven

Yes the petals and the middle details are edible, but when it's dry it's pretty hard so I don't think you'll actually eat them

They will probably have it in the asian supermarket, if you have it near by, I bought mine from Korean mart, and once online. or if you have Vietnamese supermarket they'll defiantly have it.
