- The resume & cover letter that landed me an offer at a big 4 consulting firm - In this video I reveal the cover letter & resume that I used to apply to Deloitte which led to an offer. (I cold applied through the career website so I know my cover letter and resume was the only source to evaluate me before I got my interview and thought that it must have been impactful/noticeable enough to connect to an interview)
I share tips on how you can craft your resume and cover letter for a consulting role and what you can do to optimize and make your resume and cover letter stand out. Thanks for sharing this! I'm currently a last-year student looking to land a job in consulting, and out of the dozens of videos I've watched about cv's, resumes, yours is the easiest to understand. I've watched your "pros and cons about consulting" videos too! They were also easy to understand and helped in giving me a better understanding and picture of how consulting works (since in my family there's nobody who could teach me about the stuff). Sincerely I like your videos, but still you have so much work experience and internship experience that I guess no one could really say no to you. Right now it is hard to find an internship at all, in any field! (coming from a top B school) Also, I do not have any coding background as it was never offered in my schools, I guess I should just start doing some

Thanks Mika! This video started saving me from the hell of the failure. Long story short, I'm an immigrant to Australia (that means I'm not a native speaker) and career changer (not having a CS background) and was laid off from my first engineering job 3 months ago during my probation. It was tough, since I hadn't had any change to get in touch back from my application. And then I came across this video, and reworte my resume & cover letter. And finally, it brought me an opportunity to take a coding task! It was a sort of welcome rain in a drought. Even though it was just very light drizzle, I'm so happy! I was a math major and had a business specialization and had a computer science minor and an economics minor. So my major itself was in math!
