    Love your videos! Very helpful for protecting family members especially when they are young and not mature enough yet. I wish I saw your videos before purchasing a iPhone for my son while we use android phones. I just realized how difficult to manage iPhone with android. Thank you! We may have to replace his iPhone with android phone. Thank you again!

    We purchased a Samsung phone for our child but cannot figure out how to disable gifs in Samsung messages. We toggle them off but they can simply hit the settings button within the keyboard and turn them on again. Is there a way to remove this possibility for them?

    Thanks for the video, very informative. The only thing that's making me consider an iPhone for my kids, is the fact that they provide longer support than any Google device. Additionally if they break a screen somehow is cheaper on iPhones at times.

    • @FamilyTech

      Since it's an iPhone, it's not going to be great with any 3rd party apps. Your child will be able to disable them and get around them very easily.

    my 12 yr old constantly bypasses my communication controls, I don't know how she does it remotely through her phone but she does. She also bypasses my parental controls regarding App Store and app downloads. How can she be doing this? I am considering android now.

      One thing to check is to make sure both phones are updated to the latest iOS. When updates to the operating system happen, it can mess with the settings. The other thing could be that she knows your password.

    You DON'T have to have iOS device to manage your kid's device. I'm on Android and for managing my kid's iPhone I just open screen time in Settings and do whatever I need. It's locked by the PIN anyways.

  • @RayDeLuca
    @RayDeLuca Před rokem +1

    You can Lock the Apple Device at anytime, Also you can remove the app after installing it, And the big one is Android phones will track ever place you have been EVEN WHEN THE PHONE IS OFF NETWORK !!!! Also remember Apple has a no track policy GOOGLE makes the internet bucks by tracking you ever second EVEN WHEN OFF NETWORK it uploads all your tracking info once you connect to a network even for seconds

      no way apple devices are the worst because of the limitations especially for 3rd party apps and monitoring a childs phone. I am having the worst issues with our devices being androids and kid have Iphone. I also use android devices for streaming my tv and it is amazing what can be done on android devices as apposed to IOS.

      Consider this - If your parents do something you don't like it's very likely not to make your life miserable. Surprise surprise they know what's good for you and just because your friends can consume adult content when they're 12 doesn't mean that your parents love you less. Quite the opposite. Hopefully you will appreciate it one day. There's so many things that suck but are great for your life in the long run.
