I know I may have some people disagree with me about this statement I’m about to make and it’s cool bc we are entitled to our own opinions. But I feel as if Coach Prime was a caucasian man he would be viewed much different. If this was Saban, or Dabo Sweeney, or any other caucasian man being innovative, has the swagger, helping young men, writing books, doing major thing’s bc of their bigger than life personality, he would be celebrated more. When a caucasian coach put on a pair of Jordan’s or do something to relate to the brown people culture, they are viewed as cool and blacks tend to give them the utmost respect, plus they commit to their schools and play hard for them with zero public complaints. Why blast Prime publicly, why are players speaking out negatively about him when he is what others attempt to be??? I’m not saying it hadn’t happen but I haven’t heard anyone speak negative publicly about Sweeney, Saban or other so call high profile caucasian coaches when I know they don’t like everything about them. Saban use to get all the 5 star blacks to come slave for him but they won’t hardly consider Prime! Why is this? Some will say Saban won championships, true, but Saban had to build to get there. I think blacks still feel caucasians are superior and we look down on one another. I’m not saying it’s all blacks that do this but it is quite a few. I’m not trying to say everyone should go play for him bc I know we have choices but why throw shade his way for doing what he do when he don’t do anything negative toward anybody. Have that same energy at the caucasian coaches that you have toward your own when you don’t get your way.
I'm 53 and he hasn't said ANYTHING that I haven't heard a white coach say when asked about a player! Guess what Coach did what he did last season, lost, and no one said a word? Lincoln Riley! He lost at OU with Caleb, and he went to USC, brought and installed his starter, and about 30 transfers... they lost to Tulane in a bowl game! They came back the next year and went to a bowl game!
I understand this sentiment, as many of us who are African Americans may have encountered unjust double standards. I would only add that it's crucial to note that Coach Prime refuses to adopt a victim mentality; he's steadfast in his resolve to move forward. It's about seizing opportunities, especially through victory. As he's expressed, he excels in self-motivation and doesn't wait for external validation. I personally believe in staying true to oneself and disregarding hypothetical scenarios. I taught my kids, and those in my circle of influence that success speaks for itself, and we must remain focused on our goals, never succumbing to victimhood or dwelling on what-ifs. No confusion. The players he gets out the portal may have better production than the ones leaving or a different mindset or focus yet he must determine it so he conducts entrance interviews. He filters out those players based on what the team needs. He also does exit interviews and personally knows why his players are hitting the portal. So he is talking about 2 perspectives - having to figure out those that enter while knowing why his players are leaving. He is talking from his direct experiences with the portal on both sides which can differ from the views of other coaches

No confusion. The players he gets out the portal may have better production than the ones leaving or a different mindset or focus yet he must determine it so he conducts entrance interviews. He filters out those players based on what the team needs.
He also does exit interviews and personally knows why his players are hitting the portal.
So he is talking about 2 perspectives - having to figure out those that enter while knowing why his players are leaving. He is talking from his direct experiences with the portal on both sides which can differ from the views of other coaches

Cormani is not mad because no one was trying to develop him. That would have been on all these videos. Everyone would be saying, "Look at how Cormani is getting extra help. Understood, but winning is the real factor in the culture of a team. Developing is an ongoing process with athletes on all levels. Other coaches see that you struggled at CU with elite coaching, players and schemes, who is it really the issue?…Your practice tape will show the real you, most players have an inflated ego of themselves, they lose over 50% of their 1 on 1 matchups😮
