    You are right "Never" and "Ever" do not have the same meaning. However English is such a whimsical language that there is an instance where the words practically mean the same. I'm sure you've heard the song "Have You Never Been Mellow " by the Australian singer Olivia Newton John. If you haven't, ask your parents, they'll know all about it.
    The point I want to make is that the phrases "Have You Never Been Mellow" and "Have You Ever Been Mellow" actually mean the same thing.

    • @EnglishwithMax
      @EnglishwithMax  Pƙed rokem

      Good question! Yes, you can say that too (has or have). Some native speakers might argue about it ;), but I think both are acceptable.

    Dear Prof, Might I trouble you for a question? Is there any difference between:
    Love means never HAVE TO say you’re sorry
    and
    Love means never HAVING TO say you’re sorry.
    Which is the best and why ?
    Thank you. I pay my respects to you. Far thee well dearest Prof. A

      Good question :).
      The second one is correct (the first one is incorrect).
      It's because after "never" we use the gerund or a conjugated form of the verb (e.g. I never go), and not the infinitive or base form. I hope that helps! ❀

      Your sentence is grammatically correct, but it would be better to say "a video", unless you're talking about a specifc video. ;)
