Hell yeah kid! Day 10! I made it to double digits! Your music is what I wake up to every morning. You speak to so many people Chas and you fucking get it. People are horrified by some of the shit I have gone thru and seen. I still don't get why some love to hear about and are fascinated by it. There's nothing to be proud of. I'm shocked I made it out alive and the emotional bullshit from a lifetime of numbing myself is unbearable to think about. And you, like so many of us, have been thru it and are an amazing example. I remember being a day clean and bumping “Drug Addiction” and relating to it so much. I thought to myself I can never achieve anything good like this guy. Now I’m 4 years clean and I got married we have a house cars and everything I ever wanted. Relationships have been restored and I have friends like I never thought I would ever have. I now work for an amazing Substance abuse facility in beautiful Florida and I use my experience to help people get help whom are struggling with addiction. I listen your music and I don’t just hear it I feel it. Thank you 🙏 I know you always hear how your music inspires people but I had to tell you again. That you matter me personally. You told me “Dont ever let anyone tell you what you can can’t do.” And I dont.

I promise you everything you want in life will come with time if you do the work. I’m telling you it’s way easier than the struggle of addiction and that whole life.

I love this song so much! My addiction just took my legs a month and a half ago. But, u know what?! I've been sober that long. I reached the lowest lows emotionally, more depressed than ever, and it made me go to God and I'm letting him carry me! I WILL WALK AGAIN! In God's time. You are helping so many people break from the chains of addiction including one of my best guy friends who battled addiction etc. for years! At one of the lowest points of his life he re-opened text messages of your music and videos I had sent him and he literally related so much to every bit of your words and he finally saw the light at the end of that dark tunnel and now he relates to you from the powerful side of redemption and sobriety!!
