HOW TO LEARN THE CANTILEVER ? With demonstrations and exercices

This is ridiculously impressive. Figure skating in general is a beautiful yet intricate art. Doing a move like this that essentially makes you as unbalanced as possible while drifting haphazardly across a slippery surface seems to me impossible. Great job!

actually i think it's easier on the ice than on the floor because you have some speed on the ice but not any on the floor :)

I'm trying to learn the cantilever but I'm stuck at the last step 😕 I can do it off ice (and I lean pretty far back too) but not with my feet in a straight line. If I focus on keeping my feet in a line, then my inner thigh muscles are not strong enough to support my weight 😅 so I guess I just have to build muscle!

I can do 1 and 2, but I feel I need to sharpen my skates for the edge to be held whilst leaning back! Good video, I'm going to keep trying.
