come on TCL give us a wall at a fraction of the price
Haha, it would still be pricey. Thanks for watching
219,000 on there web page
Lol facts, let me live on a budget
Come on IfFalcon, gimme an Android Wall!
TCL is good for 2yrs only
Had the chance to play PS5 on The Wall at the show and it was AWESOME! Those JBL SCL-2's and 1200P subs had some serious output to go with it too 🔥
Incredible! Dream gaming setup?! I think so!
Ehat is the input lag for this samsung wall…are games even platable?
That's what I was wondering myself@@benjiebarker
I know it's kinda late but MicroLED has 2ns latency which is around 15 thousand times less than the current fastest display tech (OLED). Basically, this TV does not have latency, at all.@@benjiebarker
“Super Cool” means sorry you can’t afford it bro! $80k for the 110” 2K version, $106k for the 146” 2K unit, and $220k for the 146” 4K. I can’t imagine how much a larger one would cost?
Yes, these are top of the line displays and are no inexpensive!
LMAO this for ultra rich
Would be interesting how this pans out in the future for pricing. Would love to see this in the 10k price range one day. I love my OLED TV. If I could get that on a 150" screen. I'd be a happy camper.
Hard to swallow that price compared to buying a JVC for still less and getting good deep blacks.
We hope to see this technology drop in price and become standard in the future. We will see!
Wow, it is astonishing how far TV technology has come along. What cool technology!
Thank you, it is pretty amazing
Amazing technology, design, and quality! It was so hard to look away in-person at Audio Advice Live!
We agree!
Man that is incredible! I can’t wait until this comes down in price. I just finished my dedicated theater with the 97” G2 and can’t imagine going back to a projector. 110” micro led will hopefully be doable in 5-7 years 🙏
It will be interesting to see how it all plays out over time. Thanks for commenting
😂😂😂 it cost 220,000 still 😂😂😂 maybe create one like a PC
The modular setup is great but mann it’s for a specific tax brackets….
Yes please! This will be great for a modern home family gathering theater space!
Totally agree, thanks for watching
Just WOW! Incredible!
Totally agree!!
Amazing tech! Great video.
Thanks!
I saw that Wall at Audio Advice Live. It was absolutely gorgeous.
Yes it was! Thanks for watching!
The only possible downside to this is will the individual screens get out of sync with color and brightness over time. I work in IT and have set up and seen many conference rooms set up like this with multiple screens together to make a large screen. Eventually, one screen will get darker than another or the colors will be off, then it becomes pretty noticeable that the screen is made up of multiple screens.
Thanks for sharing! That is a good point, hopefully their current tech will adjust for those changes.
you sure the tv's you're talking about are micro led though because there are different tv technologies like this
You should be able to replace just the one panel and they are in sync with a controller.
This was absolutely gorgeous at Audio Advice Live.
We agree! Thanks for watching 😊
excellent video on some incredible tech!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching
Looks amazing!
It is!
Great video man!
Appreciate it!
Fabulous display!
Thanks for watching!
I wonder what the heat transfer is like? I mean would I know in the summers compared to the winters is how much heat a mini led like that big would produce? and do I have to redesign a room around controlling the heat on that?
Normal is about 3800 BTU. Not a lot considering it’s size
Solution for people looking for that awesome multimedia/game room!
Exactly! Thanks for sharing
Absolutely. Glad I waited
but you have to be a millionaire gamer to afford this. lol
Great video !! What’s the platform that hosts all the movies called?
I believe Kalidascape
www.audioadvice.com/shop-by-brand/kaleidescape
This is amazing tech. Will be curious to see how this competes with projection over the next few years! Awesome video!
Thank you, yes, that is the $64,000 question!
It's beats it on image quality and brightness. However, you cannot place the speakers directly behind the screen, obviously.
when you need to compete something, the very first thing you need to consider is the price. this is why you cant compare the wall with projector since there a huge gap on the price between these two
It was incredible to see this year at Audio Advice Live!!!
We agree!
How does the processing work on these? can they do 120htz or VRR? can the processor be upgraded?
Its not really designed for that market. Here is a link to the specs if you are curious. www.samsung.com/us/business/displays/direct-view-led/ia-series/the-wall-all-in-one-146-p84-lh008iabmus-go/ Thanks for watching
Amazing Big Screen
Thank you!
Once the price drops to around $20,000 I will upgrade my projector to a nice little 140 inch wall... Till then... Only in my dreams.
Hopefully soon!
Incredible technology!
It certainly is. The stuff of George Jetson! Thanks for watching
The Wall was so impressive to see in person at Audio Advice Live!
Agreed! Thanks for watching!
Now that's impressive!
Sure is!!
NOW THIS is the type of TV homes with home theater should have!!!
For sure!!
This new technology provides an stunning picture in person.JBL Synthesis is a great choice of speakers to go with this massive image.
Couldn't agree more! Thanks for watching.
what about bose home movie theater speaker system?
This is incredible. Outside of my budget but super cool!
It is pretty amazing. Thanks for watching
Do you guys know what the input lag for this thing is. I imagine gaming on it would be impossible.
Sorry we do not, but its probably pretty bad. We just thought this was a cool new techology to let people know about. Thanks for watching
If it's modular, can I order custom size to match my room wall
Not this series but there are other ones you can do that with.
What's the prices for both?
The 146" is currently 219K. 110" is 80K. Thanks for watching
I saw this at Audio Advice Live. It is really big. Looked great to me. I could see this in a massive room maybe at a beach house or something like that.
We are glad you were able to experience it. Yes, it would be awesome at a beach house!
How much heat does it put out?
Samsung specs the BTU at about 3800
So they will work not only in North Carolina? Greetings from the UK. 😊
Thanks for joining in. The massive Samsung should work just about anywhere.
@@AudioAdvice sorry for trolling, it just sounded really strange, "not only in North Carolina", but I got the point later in the video when you talked about the installation process.
@@TomekSw 👌👌
Awesome!!! … I’ll be in touch for my new home theater build … 🙏👍👍👍
Awesome! Can't wait 😁
What’s the wattage or voltage?
It uses a standard outlet, max consumption is 1240. Thanks for watching
That’s The Wall, brother!!!
Haha! yes it is
The ONLY tv that can substitute a Projector. 👏 👏
For sure!
Is this microLED technology as good as OLED or is OLED better?
That is a debatable subject. Many feel OLED has better blacks, but microLED is getting close.
Wowww 😮
Thanks, its pretty impressive
Am in Nigeria so how do I get this please
Sorry, we only sell in the US currently.
How much $?
219K
Yes a tv is definitely more powerful than a projector but what about the abnormal pricing of such tv s compared to even a laser projector.
Yes, definitely a huge difference in price! Thanks for watching.
Wow
Thanks for watching!
220,000....WOW....definately go with a projector!!!!!
yes, this is not cheap
I mean... my 85-INCH TCL is massive. This would be SO cool
Yes it's huge!
I think the big problem is speaker placement in smaller rooms.
That can be for sure. Thanks for watching
Interesting to see how long it will take them to get the leds small enough to do a 4k living room sized model . Then it would render oled obsolete
Time will tell. Thanks for watching
120inch home theatre with 4k 120hz is all we need. I know there are 8/16 k tv's 110", but if it is no good for xbox /playstation gaming at 120hz then it is only single use.
Yes if you are a serious gamer that is important.
Well, I think I have like um… $5. Is that enough? 😂
Haha, that would be $218,994 short! Thanks for watching
Imma need this but to cover a 12x12ft room floor and ceiling walls and all, with protection layer so i can pretend im in a cave or ocean
Haha, we can make that happen!
As soon as I hit the Powerball. 😂 110" looks tiny after you've seen the 146".
We will be here for you
Play the Pink Floyd album to go with it.
That would be cool!
Some day this tech might replace a projector, but it's waaaay too small right now. This is tiny compared to my screen and it's not 2.35:1. And acoustically transparent screens are impossible with this tech. JVC projectors look BEAUTIFUL in a dark room.
A 90inch wide 2.35 OLED television screen would be awesome.
Unfortunately no manufacturers willing to develop one.
Yes, we feel the same, the ultimate is acoustically transparent with the speakers behind the screen
And the price is it competitive with a cinema experience…. I doubt it matches my Bower & Wilkins.. with true 4k
It is not inexpensive the 146" we had is about 219K
I need that now,vto play GTA6. 🤔
Haha. Yes that would be nice!
I am literally watching this video on my projector in broad daylight. And I only paid 5K not 100 K. You'd have to be nuts to buy one of these things.
Haha, yes PJ is a far better value
The 110 inch look like an 85 inch. And 145 inch look like a monster.
We can assure you they look massive!!
I have a question: Can you show a 3D movie on this?
It does not support 3D at this time.
@@AudioAdvice Thank you.
Needed to discuss cost, as these things are insanely expensive, even compared to something like a Christie AS projector!
yes, this one is 219K
My front door would be sweating if I ordered that TV ☠️
Haha, it is very large!!
Must be a nightmare to calibrate each panel individually
It's actually not too difficult. We can have it setup and calibrated within a day!
If it werent $220,000 I might get one for every room
Maybe someday!
@@AudioAdvice fingers crossed. Though haha hopefully if I ever get thay rich I don't actually spend $220,000 on a TV lmao
Last I heard the 100 inch cost about $80k... I suspect the 146 is about double that cost.
Yes, these are not inexpensive! Thanks for watching!
I'll get it in 10 years. I got my Sony Z9D 75 inch TV for $2795 when it first came out it was selling for $9000. I'm still using the Sony Z9D 65 in my bedroom for $1650 on sale and I just watched Avatar in 3d and it looked incredible. I'm upgrading my basement system to the Nakaimichi dragon 11.4.6. I'm thinking of upgrading to the AWOL 3500 in the basement because it does 3d. Home theater on a budget.
Does the Wall do 3d?
@@MrBjorn6Can you still buy tv's with 3D functionality?
I'll probably 'have to' buy a new tv next year, to accomodate for a PS5. I was hoping MicroLed would already be somewhat affordable by then, but doesn't look like it now.
Last year we bought a new tv for my parents, a LG G1 OLED Hdr. But couldn't find any tv with 3D.
I think they offer 2K for the businesses that don’t care about 4K resolution like the person at Home would.
Yes, they offer many options!
Sticking with the 98" TCL for 2500. 🤣 idk about 220k for a tv.
Fair enough!
I would just use a projector but my 55" tv is plenty
It's not for everyone!
lol, and I think my 55 inch Samsung tv is a bit to big for my bedroom and want to downsize to a 50 inch tv.
Haha! Thanks for watching
then the next year you cant expand cus they changed the connection from one year to another
You will have to pick one size when you start.
I own an expensive projrctor but im fooling myself if i think this tech will last! The future is here. Just have to wait for price trickle down wgich i honestly think will be quicker than peopke think because of the MASSIVE market for large televisions.
We think you are right about that!
That wouldn't fit in most homes! I want one
Yes, it would take a very large wall! Thanks for watching
Projector is cheaper, and the technology is those things is only getting better, nice TV, but not worth the cost for me
Yes, projectors are a far better value, thanks for watching
Panasonic had the wall over 10 years ago
Yes, the technology has come a long way since then.
Yours for the low low price of your LIFE!!!🤯🤯🤯
It is expensive, yes
i remember us looking at the 292 in version of this bad boy😁 and hearing one panel was close to 20k no thanks. knowing how reliable samjunk is i'll stick with sony. i wish sony would come out with something like this🙂
I'm not sure the true Audiophile would accept this item.
A true videophile would accept this item.
It would be great in a home theater or a huge living room!
This is a great product but obviously really expensive. I think projectors and screens will still be preferred for theater rooms for many years since you can easily upgrade the projector over time; whereas upgrading this Wall would be super expensive. However, if you have lots of money, why not get a theater room with a projector and put one of these in your living room :-)
There is really no need to upgrade this "Wall". It will always be brighter than a projector. Full 4K and pure blacks, rich colors etc. The only thing would be if it breaks. But it's modular so technically you only need to replace the module that fails.
This TV would still be amazing 10 years from now. It's basically OLED but in organic so no burn in etc. It will be great as long as it lasts.
Projectors, not so much since they improve over the years. But they will not reach this level, likely ever.
Projectors that are good are very expensive too, plus you need to build the room around them, like black out everything etc.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Either way would be a ton of fun!
"If I had the money" I wouldn't spend it on a TV I can buy for a 5K. I'd buy a car.
@@Magicinstalls People who can afford this can afford ................. BOTH!
And many times over that ..
They can afford this TV (or more) and have 20+ supercars ..
I know these kind of people ..
See I love this but I need it outside the country. Sigh
Too bad. Thanks for watching
Projector is better at this price point and lots of convience
Projectors will be better for certain situations. Not to mention you can save a lot of money but will never get the same brightness as The Wall.
Seems like most industry experts predict we'll be seeing MicroLED hitting shelves at retailers (Best Buy, etc.) by 2025 and being "affordable" by 2027. While I love my OLEDs, I'm really excited to get one of these in my house!
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!
Yea definitely an amazing screen. $220,000 is insane for a tv screen and the average person could never afford that.
@@stunnazw The current MSRP of the 89-inch is only $100,000, but I'm sure some retailers will probably sell as low as 80K...? Chump change! XD
Do they? The production of these is incredibly labour intensive and defects are common, driving up prices even more. They need to produce 24 million LEDs per TV, test and sort them, then place them one by one. Yes maybe with RGB LEDs that number is reduced, but getting them to match up is even harder. While with OLED and LCDs the production process is fast and easy to scale, with microLEDs it isn't at all. By the time these are feasible we'll already have QDED screens, which offer much of what microLED can, but at a fraction of the cost. The only place where I see microLED as viable is at very large screens, like commercial ones or cinemas. That's another thing... microLED gets more expensive to produce the smaller it gets, while it is relatively cheap to produce huge microLED screens (which with other tech is getting extremely expensive).
@@nathanddrews I was referring to the 146" model. still crazy expensive even for that 89".
incredible TV but it comes down to 220k versus 10-15k lol
Yep, it is not inexpensive!
110 inch is good but at 8k resolution
Yes, that would be nice, the 110 is currently only 2K
Id take the projector and save 100k plus lol
More than that, this puppy is 219K! Thanks for watching
@@AudioAdvice OH wow!!
Everyone loves to concentrate on brightness, with the introduction of HDR that's now the driving force behind most TV purchases. However, the problem I've always had with that is it makes the image look like video, high end video yes but that's not what I'm after.
I will always stick with projectors because they deliver an incredible image that isn't blindingly bright and, more importantly (to me at least), gives you a more film-like image.
This TV, while massive, is far too expensive and will present the same issues that I never liked about most TV's now.
Lastly, if you have the space to accommodate such size, you can go far beyond 146" with a good projector, I'm talking 300", and get an amazing image.
Save your money, go with a good high end projector.
Fair enough. Projectors will always have a place!
The design tool is not working.
Sorry you are having trouble, its working for us, what browser are you using?
Just get a 4k laser short throw projector.
That is a cheaper option but won't provide the same brightness and quality.
Huge drop in picture quality.
Get any view anywhere in the world in your living room without the cost of paying for a home with a view.
HaHa, that is true
LG magnit is more expensive......evenf if the Wall is the first micro LED TV in the world....in my opinion Sony crystal is the best of micro LED TV at moment
Would be cool to see a Sony option!
220k seems reasonably priced
haha, yes, it is a lot of $$$$$
$79,000,000??? Yea…ok. For 79k i could literally have Will Smith come to my house and act out the parts live…either that or smack me for even considering such a ridiculously priced item.
Its actually 219,000! We just thought it would be cool to show off this upcoming technology. It will be far less in the not so distant future and imagine being able to start small and just add panels to make it bigger. Remember, 42" flat panel TV's were 20K when they first came out. And that was in 2001 range dollars
Maybe I missed it, but how much does this cost? I'm betting a projector is probably $30,000 cheaper. edit ... $200k? seriously? That's just stupid.
219K actually, yes its not cheap but pretty neat tech, as with all things tech, we expect prices to fall over time
@@AudioAdvice I sure hope so, that's crazy expensive :)
Is this an incredible experince?
Its pretty amazing to see, yes
Just buy a UST projector. This price is insane.
We agree, a projector of either type is a far better value
top quality projector is equally as good in image but can go three times the size lol and its a tenth of the price
Yes, projectors are a better value. Thanks for watching
Am I tripping or do these run 500k
They start around 200K.
@@AudioAdvice that's insane lol
80k for 110 inch.
Yes, not cheap.
HUUGGGEEEE PRICE DIFFRENCE!!!
Absolutely!
