Wow, this mission has changed a ton since I was part of the alpha test years ago. I cant wait to get my hands on this campaign. Will be nice to have a proper and realistic training campaign. Baltic Dragon never ceases to amaze.
Amazing job, as always RedKite, thanks for this preview! On the MRFCS, this is one of the things that amazed me, how nicely it is modelled - and well done on that part, when building the mission in the beginning I was all around the sky, unable to control the jet, you handles it loke a pro :) yeah the switch VO is there for the instances where you mess it up too much and have to switch to normal mode before getting to WP4.
Sad to say I've had to fly home on Manual reversion more than a few times!
Hey Mr. Dragon, love the campaign so far, as always with your creations, only done some of the first few missions. I noticed an error on mission 3 I think it was, while on the ground, one of the voice lines for biff plays the wrong audio file. The text is correct but the audio is another voice saying something completely unrelated.
Knowing this is on the way helped me decide to get the A10 after flying the Hornet for a year. Nice job, as always.
Excellent RK, as always. And time to make another bump for...wait for it...updating the NTTR map. Pretty please ED.
That looks great RK, definitely a campaign that interests myself, good job as always, a nicely presented video! 👍
Thanks for the upload, love your videos, you always play DCS to the highest level and they're probably the most enjoyable and informative videos out there.
Concur! RedKite just added a new layer of training into a already very complex training mission!
It always warms my heart to see Idaho A-10s being flown in game!! Get to see them flying IRL Year round here in Boise. Anyways this is defiantly a training Campaign I am looking forward to getting, thanks for the preview!
Best A-10 squad :)
Skullbangers rock!
Definitely fun to watch them, when I was a F-15 crew chief, I had an Expeditor who used to be a A-10 crew chief. He would tell me how awesome the A-10 was to work on because basically he didn't have to do anything, It being a flying Gun of death meant it was mostly weapons that was keeping it maintained lol.
Love the attention to detail and atmosphere they put into this , definitely coming back to the a10 when it comes out
Hey Redkite, I will definitely be getting this campaign. When I first got the A10C, I got 3 campaigns with it, the basic, the advanced and the tactical flight training campaign. I learned a lot through those 3 campaigns and it definitely helped me to learn the jet quickly. Of course a lot of reading and research helps too as there is a ton of good information on operating procedures and tactics available. Thanks for the early look.
This campaign should be complimentary to excellent Sabre’s campaigns, as it should teach you quite a lot of things required there!
@@balticdragon3611 Hey Baltic Dragon, thank you and thanks for the fast response too.
Thanks for your work! You're videos are always great, especially when you come back to the old girl! I'd point out that the yellow bars on the ADI are actually some kind of flight director. The actual CDI is on the HSI, and the GS is the little white arrow left of the ADI. That's why the yellow bars move around so much :)
I'm seriously looking forward to this RK. If there has ever been a Campaign that I've wanted to get involved with, it would be this one
Glad to hear that!
Looks great!
Interesting. But I couldn’t be arsed with that every time I played.
I think this will be helpful. One of the things I have always felt is, we could use more detailed training, if one was interested. I’ll definitely get it myself, because I like the practice. Really the only module that has detailed training, is the Harrier. I would love to see training like this carried over to other modules as well. While I don’t mind videos, I feel something like this could be helpful, when you want just pick a section to review.
Well, there is a lot of attention to detail, but also everything else - ATC procedures, banter between the player and Biff, his instructor, etc.
This is awsome. Will get the campaign for sure. We need this for the Hornet aswel.
I think BD announced on his Facebook there will be a Hornet training campaign in the Raven One universe in the Marianas! Yeah I'm psyched.
Yep! As we finish second part of R1, we are starting to sketch out the basics for the training campaign with Kevin Miller and Jell-O!
Nice.
Man, I'm so looking forward to playing this, then returning to Enemy Within 3.
I need to get round to playing Enemy Within 3!
Yeah RK, you should! ;)
Huh, I had never heard of manual reversion before, and the A-10C was one of my first modules. Definitely could've saved my ass a few more times than I can remember...
Pays to learn the emergency systems in your jet!
Seems like a new walkthrough on the channel.)
Tutorialception?
@@RedKiteRender please

Been a while since I’ve flown in the Hawg, have they reworked the cockpit sounds of the jet? Or do you have a soundmod installed? It sounds amazing!
I don't have any sound mods, however, my soundcard (creative soundblaster) does some audio enhancement processing, which is captured when recording.
@@RedKiteRender great thanks RedKite!
Does this campaign take place simultaneously with the Mirage 2000C Red Flag campaign?
The idea of a training campaign appeals to me, but I can't really like the "radio" effect of the instructors communications .. on first sight it is more realistic, but makes it harder to understand for non-native english speakers like myself.
Thankfully there's subtitles, but it certainly would be nice to have the option for both!
I hear you - but this is supposes to be as realistic as possible, so radio effect is a must. Besides, in the sim it sounds better :)
wait, you have to tank in manual reversion?
It was just a practice before doing the aar, that's under full flight control.
You need to stop trying to correct your refueling position whenever you're stable and receiving fuel. You were perfectly holding and then you said..."eh I might be a little too low" AS IT IS STILL WORKING and then you try to correct and lose it. Then, you reconnect and as things are going perfectly, you again decide that you're too low and upset it all again. Once you're stabilized and it's working, just stay there and take it. You're creating risk by trying to maneuver into a "better" position should a mistake be made just by doing so, rather than just staying put.
It's the first time I've refuelled a hog in 2-3 years, I'm commentating and trying to provide some camera work for the audience too, which caused at least one of the disconnects, so needless to say I'm a little mind flooded, vs normally where i can make those corrections.
