Unless Akuma can suddenly fly, teleport, or climb like Spider-Man, his appearance on the roof means he had to go *through* the building from ground level. Now I just imagine Akuma standing in an elevator for several minutes with his arms crossed and a grim look on his face, while cheerful elevator music plays the whole time.

This game puts them around that level. Akuma was having enough trouble and both of them survived the laser hitting them which is pretty high up there in damage even compared to those thing you said. Still think Oni is a little too much though, maybe Jin would be able to take him or last with him but not kazuya.

Its Really freaking annoying to hear all this fanwanking. I mean do they expect a year old story to be solved by a GUEST CHARACTER Killing everyone? Like seriously they act like the tekken doesnt have extremely powerful beings. Jin Straight up murdered a planetary threat in azazel, heihachi didnt even fight at his fullest against him and survived a raging demon (which was the only reason he was actually Hurt severly because he doesnt have any of these powers) and kazuya is only now really letting lose. Meteor destroying? Well Jack can be seen destroying a meteor too and their fodder. And again storywise it makes no freaking sense because we know Jin will fight Kazuya again so Akuma probably is Lucky if he survives this one.
Akuma would have destroyed the solders effortlessly, hence why Kazuya told them not to waste their time and allow him to come to the roof. Kazuya knows not to underestimate Akuma or take him lightly at all. Akuma jumped out of nowhere and took out Bison with the Raging demon, showing his contempt at him as he felt Bison did not give him the worthwhile challenge he is seeking, viewed him as unworthy and weak and walked away. Akuma does not play with lightweights, he only fights those who he deems worthy of giving him the worthwhile challenge he looks for and has the potential to kill him in a fight to the death Also in street fighter 3rd strike, he literally tore apart the ship with ease whilst submerged underwater with just one move.
Mike Rodriguez What I loved about this game were 5 different battles. Kazuya and Heihachi vs Jacks. Akuma vs Heihachi. Akuma vs Kazuya. Heihachi vs Kazuya. And Devil Kazuya vs Akuma those are the battle I loved in this game.
I thought it was done well in a lot of ways. One thing that killed me a bit though was that boring ass narrator. Tekken 6's not so great story was also riddled with issues, but at least that one wasn't boggled by a monotone voice telling the story.

Honestly, Akuma isn't that great of a rival for the Mishima family. He's too far out of their league. That entire final battle against Devil Kazuya? That's Akuma holding back nearly all of his power. Shin Akuma--which is to say Akuma when he stops holding back--would wipe the floor with the entire cast with absolutely no effort. And that's not even accounting for Oni. Even if they did manage to beat him down as Shin Akuma, he retains the option of fully giving himself over to the Satsui no Hadou and becoming Oni, which is tens of times more powerful than even Shin Akuma.

There’s also the fact that when Akuma was asked to why he didn’t show up earlier was because he was just waiting for them to get stronger before he killed them. This means that not only could he have killed them whenever he wanted to, but that he was giving them a fighting chance by letting them become stronger.
What I love about tekken is the character has a real knowledge towards each other for example the mishima family(company) know about shadowloo and the king of fighter but they don't want to interfere with them but Howard always wants to control the crime world that is why every game he enters he target the crime boss or the strongest company boss like with bison and heihachi EDIT: thankfully akuma didn't kill the final boss so he can be the final boss

GNex Prime: I would agree kinda since i think he could but not sure if it would be a total stomp plus some people seem to forget that Oni *is* a transformation when Akuma taps fully into the Satsui No Hado and it is a form that greatly surpasses even Shin Akuma. I also noticed he seemed to be fighting only in his base form when he fought against Heihachi and Kazuya since when he transforms into Shin he is far stronger and faster than his base form and can use single handed hadoken's so I can see Oni fighting equally or being possible a bit stronger than a full power Jin or Kazuya since Capcom wouldn't agree to let Akuma be a part of the Tekken story only to have him be a second fiddle to those two.

The power displayed by Oni in his appearances, however, is limited; he's tens of times more powerful than Shin Akuma, but the last vestiges of Akuma's will are holding back his power in the hopes that someone can kill him. In any case, there's no need for Shin Akuma *or* Oni here. Regular Akuma would be enough to dumpster the entire Tekken cast if he actually put in a bit of effort. If he went all out--which is what Shin Akuma is, rather than being an actual new form--he would be completely unstoppable. The character loves a good fight, so he's not about to go Shin on them.

Assxassin Hunter i read on how the satu no hado works, it had said akuma has now master it and can go on using this new found power call shin akuma but enter in that state for a very long extended time can mean oni would take control of his body been possessed, a entity a full demon would take control of akuma, something akuma would never let happen, oni never appear in story wise but only played able for games that's it, same as jin kazama he never actually use his devil form or even control it yet. But still OP in base form but Devil jin he's only played able in game mode's, kazuya yes has master the devil power but he still weak cause of the other half is inside jin its impressive on how he manage to control it and morphed into a 2nd stage devil but he still not a full devil yet until jin demise by his hands only

the only good thing in Tekken 7 story mode is the final fight between Kazuya and Heihachi. Akuma is excess here, there is too many honour not only put him in game, but make him "stronger" than Mishimas. It's total facepalm and shit. In reality, Kazuya is much stronger then this punk.

Kazuya fails most of the time, while everything that Akuma has done, he did it while holding back and without giving a single fuck. Also, Kazuya has been a punching bag for the majority of the series, while Akuma only lost once in his series. And this Akuma isn't Akuma from SF, its a different version of the character, and also SF isn't that much weak as you think.
Kazuya also lost only in two fights: he loses to Heihachi in Tekken 2, and to Jin in Tekken 4. There arent any fights in other parts, where Kazuya had lost.

Like seriously they act like the tekken doesnt have extremely powerful beings. Jin Straight up murdered a planetary threat in azazel, heihachi didnt even fight at his fullest against him and survived a raging demon (which was the only reason he was actually Hurt severly because he doesnt have any of these powers) and kazuya is only now really letting lose. Meteor destroying? Well Jack can be seen destroying a meteor too and their fodder. And again storywise it makes no freaking sense because we know Jin will fight Kazuya again so Akuma probably is Lucky if he survives this one.

Mike Rodriguez What I loved about this game were 5 different battles. Kazuya and Heihachi vs Jacks. Akuma vs Heihachi. Akuma vs Kazuya. Heihachi vs Kazuya. And Devil Kazuya vs Akuma those are the battle I loved in this game.
I thought it was done well in a lot of ways. One thing that killed me a bit though was that boring ass narrator. Tekken 6's not so great story was also riddled with issues, but at least that one wasn't boggled by a monotone voice telling the story.

Honestly, Akuma isn't that great of a rival for the Mishima family. He's too far out of their league. That entire final battle against Devil Kazuya? That's Akuma holding back nearly all of his power. Shin Akuma--which is to say Akuma when he stops holding back--would wipe the floor with the entire cast with absolutely no effort. And that's not even accounting for Oni. Even if they did manage to beat him down as Shin Akuma, he retains the option of fully giving himself over to the Satsui no Hadou and becoming Oni, which is tens of times more powerful than even Shin Akuma.

There’s also the fact that when Akuma was asked to why he didn’t show up earlier was because he was just waiting for them to get stronger before he killed them. This means that not only could he have killed them whenever he wanted to, but that he was giving them a fighting chance by letting them become stronger.

In any case, there's no need for Shin Akuma *or* Oni here. Regular Akuma would be enough to dumpster the entire Tekken cast if he actually put in a bit of effort. Heihachi manage to fight devil kazuya to a draw to overpower him which a weaken devil kazuya fought shin akuma to overpower him, i think heihachi has a chance fighting shin akuma cause of devil kazuya managed to overpower him that goes for heihachi as well.

the only good thing in Tekken 7 story mode is the final fight between Kazuya and Heihachi. Akuma is excess here, there is too many honour not only put him in game, but make him "stronger" than Mishimas. It's total facepalm and shit. In reality, Kazuya is much stronger then this punk.

Plus, how do you know that Kazuya is much stronger than Akuma? What has he done so impressive that is on Akuma's level? Don't get me started with "Kazuya won this fight", Harada said that the fight isn't over yet, its still a work in progress, so we'll have to wait and see the actual result. Kazuya fails most of the time, while everything that Akuma has done, he did it while holding back and without giving a single fuck. Also, Kazuya has been a punching bag for the majority of the series, while Akuma only lost once in his series. And this Akuma isn't Akuma from SF, its a different version of the character, and also SF isn't that much weak as you think.
Kazuya also lost only in two fights: he loses to Heihachi in Tekken 2, and to Jin in Tekken 4. There arent any fights in other parts, where Kazuya had lost.
@@blackspeech991 Wait, how this fight isn't over yet? Dude, Kazuya HAS TO be alive, because after killing Heihachi G-Corp is still doing his evil stuff and Jin vows to kill Kazuya off. Besides, title of that chapter is called "Instant Carnage" what can imply that Akuma is another victim of Kazuya right after Heihachi getting killed.
@@polishsausage648 Because that's the way it is. The title of the chapter doesn't mean anything. They're not gonna make a character that they don't own die in a game outside his own universe. Imagine what would happen if Kazuya or some othe Tekken character appeared in another game and died? Both Tekken staff and fanbase would go apeshit (in a negative way). When answered about the result, Harada said "the result hasn't happened yet, its still a work in progress." and then when he was asked "will we find out some day", he replied that "he has been thinking about many different outcomes but its quite scary for now, because a scene with either character winning or getting killed would result in a bad relationship between both companies" so he left the fight unfinished (for now). So we will have to wait for another Tekken or maybe Tekken X Street Fighter to find out.

Oni Akuma most likely kill Kazuya as Namco probably wouldn't make Akuma in all his forms OP well this ain't his game so I don't expect Akuma to go over another game characters even though he went over one already but I do think in Tekken 8 if Akuma in it he stomped Kazuya but Kazuya survives and than gets killed by Jin and Akuma definitely ain't going over Jin.
@@fightinggames4ever976 I'm sorry for bothering you, but here's the real reason why harada wanted akuma..it turns out he's a SF fanboy himself that part akuma defeated heihachi.. he did that on purpose.. the part kazuya had transformed to keep up with akuma he did that on purpose as much as i hate akuma fan's for overestimating.. The only justice kazuya has was holding back on Jin in tk4, defeating Heihachi then continuing on fighting shin akuma NOT getting tired after the fight with heihachi..stop shin akuma 2nd raging demon but after that he still couldn't put down akuma. I really don't see how's that's NOT justice for this character if harada himself favorite's him the most. Especially he's best friend Michael Murray. They shitted on there own characters did you know they wanted Jin to die tk6..yeah and kazuya was supposed to die in tk2 yeah i doubt they show there on characters respect lol in what dimension only fan's are keeping those characters alive.

Just because he give them center of attention doesn't mean it's he's favorite character Lar's in tk6 took both Jin and kazuya spotlight it was mainly focus on both Alisa and Lars an Raven. Like hell he respects he's own character he's main favorite was heihachi but he let both Negan and akuma or geese in trailer or story mode shit on them. WTF
