Rem memories was eaten by gluttony already foreshadowed in s1 ep 23
If u remember "blank letter " actually that letter written by rem , since rem memories was eaten , the context in letter became vanish and that letter became as blank letter
Seven deadly sins are such a popular trope that a lot of Japanese stories take from. It's easy to see why, it's kinda cool as hell
whats epic is how re:zero took the most standard isekai tropes and elevated it to a higher level
The part where Lye Batenkaitos eats Rems Name and Memories (16:48) its the time rem got you can see quick flashes of a future. This is actually a What If the Tappei Nagatsuki wrote called Sloth IF, which is an alternate ending to ep 18 where Rem and Subaru run away to Kagaragi and have a family abandoning everyone.
There's actually a bunch of IF stories. Each IF story is written on April 1st (Subaru's birthday) and each of them shows a diffrent path Subaru could've taken at certain points in the story.
If you are interested here are the best times to read them. (Currently the anime is on arc 4 aka Season 2 and Season 3 will be arc 5 and 6)
Sloth IF: Read whenever after S1 BUT has a minor arc 5 spoiler, and also has a character you will not see in the anime for a WHILE (we talking probably season 5 of Re:Zero)
Greed IF: Best to read after season 3 (contains some arc 5 and 6 spoilers)
Wrath IF: Read whenever after S1 BUT again contains 2 characters you will not see until season 4 and 5 (but you can read about one of them in Re Zero EX 4)
Pride IF: Best to read after season 3 (after arc 5)
Gluttony IF: Read after season 3 (after arc 6)
Lust IF: Read whenever after S1
Aganau IF: Watch whenever after S1 (it's from a mobile game)
Or instead of reading them there are some summary videos on youtube. It's not the same as reading them since its just a summary but hey if you don't like to read then that's an option

Anyway I'm hoping one day that these What IFs get turned into OVAs! I Definitely want to see Wrath, Pride and Sloth the most! Aganau would also be cool but I don't know how likely that is to happen.
It's very simple, there is not much mystery behind Subaru's save points. Satella controls it, so she can make shure he survives at the end, simple as that.
The flash cane from the Sloth if, the author wrote a book on what would havd happened if Rem left with Subaru.

Gluttony's pronouns are actually They/Them interestingly enough.
They them doesnt even exist in japanese bruh
@@Fyjgtughiohg7ijI cannot be more specific about this because it would go into spoiler territory, but I feel like my statement "Gluttony uses They/Them" regardless of how Japanese pronouns work still holds true. It is the English equivalent to "oretachi" which IIRC Gluttony uses at points.
They use they/them pronouns, but not because they're non-binary
