- This is a 1990 Formula 1 Benetton B190 car doing some Demo laps at Brands hatch being driven by John Reaks.
The car was originally raced by Nelson Piquet and won the Japanese and Austrailian Grand Prix in 1990.
The Ford 3.5l V8 produced 650bhp and the car weighed just 500kg. - Sport
I will always love all of the Benetton colorblock liveries.
What's not to like? Ford power, Goodyear sneakers, Mobil in the lump. That Toucan inspired livery. Notice the clean, aesthetic lines, the sparse uncluttered detail. Squat, wide and flat units of hellish power. I miss them days.
This car is Beauty !!!
One of the best F1 liveries of all time. Gorgeous machine. I wish the current teams would put as much thought and care into their liveries. Most look so dull compared to this (and other 90s-era cars).
5:16 TIL Benetton F1 were based in Witney, Oxfordshire (and were previously Toleman)
I love the old school liveries
Rory Byrne almost always designed the most elegant machines on the grid. At least pre-high nose era..
Awesome footage! And of course awesome car
Amazing!
Piquet🇧🇷
Bons tempos... quando a fórmula 1 era a fórmula 1...nota-se pela cabeça branca do mecânico que com certeza fazia parte da equipe.
500 kgs... those were the days...
this look at Benetton was called a PARROT🦜
