    Great styling. And Chevy's are known for their rock-solid dependability. It's still the best SUV on the market, along with the longer Chevy Suburban.

    cameron, which one best ? fully loaded tahoe or a mercedes gl450 ?

    • @CameronsCarReviews
      @CameronsCarReviews  Před 10 lety +1

      Mercedes GL hands down but if it was the Escalade vs the GL I would have to go with Escalade. Surprisingly the GL450 costs way less than a fully loaded Tahoe. The only advantage the Tahoe has over the GL is 1,000 Pounds more in Towing capabilities but other than that the GL is certainly a better car over the Tahoe and you're making more of a statement when you buy a Mercedes over a Tahoe. I think the Tahoe needs to cost way less personally to me this Tahoe is worth more like $50,000-55,000 than like almost $70,000

    Does it still have a cd player? You would expect actual temp zones for driver and passenger. Starting price on these is hard to swallow. No touch screen?

    • @gmisthebest4366
      @gmisthebest4366 Před 8 lety

      Perfect example, at 10:57 it says 82° on the digital dial for the passenger temperature selection.

  • @celsovera91
    @celsovera91 Před 10 lety

    i wonder how much the escalade would cost. the 70k tahoe with all the options makes the escalade kinda pointless

    • @CameronsCarReviews
      @CameronsCarReviews  Před 10 lety

      The starting price of the Escalade increases almost $8,000 over the outgoing model resulting in a hefty $72,690 plus destination charge for the 2015 model

    it annoys me that gm still has the gear shifter on the steering wheel even the modern mini vans of today have a gear shifter some where else beside on the steering wheels.... GM is stuck in the 70s with these big ole gas guzzler trucks i rather a lincoln or something else and $70k for this gas guzzler contraption i rather ill pass i perfer the Cadillac over gmc and chevy...

    • @aduncana1391
      @aduncana1391 Před 7 lety

      We just bought a 2017 escalade 2 months and a 2017 Tahoe last week so, Yeah the Escalade is nicer with more features but I like the Tahoe, also they are not gas guzzlers. They sip gas compared to our old 2011 Escalade and 2013 Tahoe.

    all the features that bring vehicles "with the times" i see as useless crap to break and more to go wrong what happened to basic fucking vehicles?

    • @savann-gp2yz
      @savann-gp2yz Před 7 lety

      This isn't 1997, dumbass. Why don't you get a 90's car if you hate new cars so much?

  • @EduardoHernandez-ml2oh

    I still prefer A 2000-2006 Tahoe 5.3 vortec v8, it sounds better, looks BETTER, and it certainly looks more powerful, this new Tahoe looks like something a soccer mom would drive

    Good old American marketing, tell you it's the greatest since sliced bread for a expensive but fair price but in reality it only appears that way at 1st glance but is in fact mediocre. It's all about maximizing profit. A real $70,000 vehicle would have real state of the art quality and design and comfort features not generic looks ok and seems new but is just a refresh of what's been around for years. There is just nothing groundbreaking to warrant the price. I mean even this motor reved up sounded like a old coarse 6 cylinder. Yet people get fooled and shell out money due to the hype and their ignorance. Sorry but it's sad and true. Not a bad vehicle just not at that price. It's a chicken parm dinner for $80 that taste like the same dish somewhere else for $12. The pure definition of insanity...

    IT LOOKS SO CHEAP MADE FOR A 70k S U V. OLDER MODELS LOOK MORE TUFF AND STAND OUT WAY BETTER THIS NEW STYLE LOOKS LIKE AN OLD VERSION OF A FORD EXPEDITION

  • @tigerrx7

    The 2015 SUCKS, I have a 2013 LTZ and test drove the 2015, I felt like i was driving an old pathfinder, when I got back in my 2013 is flew, I found out why! Its really a V4 unless you are towing a boat or something heavy, thing drives like crap! "cylinder deactivation, giving their V-8 engine the ability to drop to four-cylinder status under a light load. Both engines slip in and out of four-cylinder mode with no indication beyond the readout in the instrument panel. "
