Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

    I had a 98 suburban for years. Put over 200,000 miles on it and thanks to how big it is I rarely ever needed a moving truck. People can make fun of these all they want but if you have a family and/or need to haul big stuff these are perfect.

    This time around Chevy got it right with the new Tahoe and suburban. It looks way nicer and more luxurious good job. also the reason the price is so high is because it's a fully loaded top of the line LTZ

      Jesus Resource Portal tbh, the leg room in the 3rd row in the 2015-2020 Chevrolet Suburban was so small for me because I am a tall guy & when I told my parents that I did NOT want to ride in the 3rd row seat of my dads 2018 Chevrolet Suburban, they didn’t care at all because they think I can fit in the 3rd row but I have very little leg room in the 3rd row because I am a tall person & the 3rd row is only meant for smaller people instead of taller people because GM didn’t fucking think of the leg room in the 3rd row for the tall people & I told my parents that I am NOT gonna ride in the 3rd row of my dads 2018 Suburban because of how much leg room there is for the 3rd row & tbh, I think that my parents should’ve been thinking twice before even putting me in the 3rd row with 2 other people & from now on, when me, my family & their friends go on a trip somewhere, I will tell my parents that from now on, only the people who are short (at least 4 feet) are going the fucking 3rd row because it was NEVER meant for me or anyone taller than at least 4 feet

    It's great, but it's gotten way too expensive. This thing is out of reach to any family making less than 250k/yr. These were $30k just 10 years ago for an almost topped out model.

    • @MygunsJammedify
      @MygunsJammedify Před 10 lety +8

      Nah son, my 05 burban was 35k new, and its no where near the most high end model. The z71 4x4 tahoe was 65k new, and the burban was 71k. While i totally know that these are more expensive, theyve never been cheap. But, you get what you pay for, im rolling on 200k on the odo, and not a single problem to report. These things last forever, so a little more at the beginning goes a long ass way. notice how you still see suburbans 4 gens ago still cruisin around (fuel injected models at least)

    • @92ASC
      @92ASC Před 10 lety +5

      fully loaded Tahoe's and Yukons could easily reach near $40k back in the 90's. Yeah $70k is too much and most people probably won't pay MSRP prices, but $55k+ is pretty standard for an SUV of this class these days

    GM, it's way past time you leave the column shifter behind. Put led puddle lamps in the doors, license plate, tail lights & under the mirrors like most other vehicles. Move the 4way switch to the dash also.

      Robert Drayton why tho? Even the s class I rented a few months back has a column shifter. I also rented a rolls royce wraith and even that had a column shifter. They were also all made of hard plastic. There’s no reason to remove it since it frees up space and is easier to use.

    Tahoe; Yukon; Suburban; Expedition; Excursion; Escalade; maybe LX570, etc: These are all *full size* SUV's.
    X3; X5; X6; Q7; ML; GL; G; Cayenne; RR, etc: These are *mid size* SUV's.
    Do not compare *mid-size* to *full-size* - they each serve different markets, needs and abilities.
    Tahoe, Suburban or Expedition owners don't even consider any of these smaller, mid-size, homo-haulers.
    Hauling 8500 lbs down the highway in an Expedition - with 8 other passengers - is like driving an Amtrak train, while sitting in a lazy boy. It's nice and comfortable.
    Mid-sized SUV's are *not* interchangeable with full-sized SUV's.
    Remember that.

I do hope that they continue to build new Tahoe's for as long as they carried out the suburban. I also hope they keep the full size SUV segment going, as many of the other vehicle manufacturer's are moving towards the more car based SUVs and crossovers, which I don't really like. The only problem I have with SUVs of this nature is how expensive they are now. You could buy a GMC Acadia Denali (2WD) for the price of a Yukon SLE 2WD, or a Ford Explorer Limited 4WD for the same cost of a base model Expedition, not to mention all the other alternatives for $44,000 (Expedition) - almost $48,000 (Yukon). Chevy doesn't compete with Mercedes at all. And for $71,000 you could get an Escalade instead of a Tahoe. Heck, Mercedes should step up their game and update the E-class.

    A fully loaded Tahoe and a Yukon Denali both have the same fit and finish as the Escalade, and both look better too. The Escalade just has more fake chrome, and the stupid Volvo tail lamps.

    • @Stressless2023
      @Stressless2023 Před 10 lety +8

      The new Escalade's trim isn't chrome, let alone "fake chrome".

    • @marc1093280
      @marc1093280 Před 10 lety

      I wasn't talking about the interior trim. Either way, the new Escalade has grown on me, and a fully loaded Tahoe costs $71,000 and a base Escalade costs that much too. However, the only thing I really care about having in a car is a GPS system and backup camera, so I would rather have a base Escalade instead of a fully loaded Tahoe. Besides, the Escalade has more power and 4 years of free maintenance. The Escalade's interior looks better in comparison to the Tahoe's and Yukon Denali's interior, and I have come to like the exterior styling of the Escalade.

    • @Stressless2023
      @Stressless2023 Před 10 lety +2

      I wasn't talking about the interior trim either. Take a good look at the "exterior" trim on the new '15 Escalade, it's all satin nickel/brushed aluminum. There's virtually no chrome anywhere, which is why I corrected you.

    • @hakeemsd70m
      @hakeemsd70m Před 10 lety +1

      marc1093280 Also, the 2015 Escalade has real wood grain that's sawed by hand. Real wood is available on the 2015 Yukon, mostly in Denali, but the 2015 Tahoe's wood is just the faux stuff. Real wood is unavailable.

    • @marc1093280
      @marc1093280 Před 10 lety +1
