This song is more than a break-up song. Life kinda fell apart for me last year (2020). A lot of loss and change, but here's to new beginnings even if it's foreign and everything feels broken. I never knew life could be so hard, but we endure! I wrote this cause it made me feel like I could take back a little control in my life... to name what I feel and move forward! I lost my dad in August, also from cancer. He was a retired teacher, and he had a passion for teaching. On his deathbed, I promised him that I would become a great teacher to honor his memory. Now I'm well on my way to reaching that goal. I turned tragedy into inspiration, just like Tiffany is doing, so this song is extra meaningful to me.
So sad and sorry for your loss! What was he teaching?

I feel this on so many levels. My life too fell apart in more ways than one in 2020. I just felt like I didn't have a grip on anything and was loosing everything too fast, too soon. Never knew such pain was possible until 2020. But like you said, we endure. Push through and come out brighter and better on the other end. Thanks for the song Tiffany, I truly loved it and felt so much better and so much more grounded. Here's to a better 2021 for all of us.
