When I was in choir in college, we called this our "Inspirational Choir Movie".
I actually had that happen in high school. Our choir director looked at all of us and was like, come on, you can do better than this. And we did.

Only them. As a choir director I have had to do it… speaking to the lead. And as the lead, my brother had to do it to me one evening, Sunday night service talking through his teach smile big day, and if he could have been heard that night, they just said the boy wouldn’t even say no just kidding, but he did have to say was “diva what is wrong with you ?”
I chose your video tonight. Just missed home. Love Center Church, . You took me to church but you also took me down memory lane. This was the first 45 record I ever purchased. I believe it was 1969. I believe I was still in elementary school. I marvel at the hand of God. who would ever believe the sitting by that record player after buying this record I don’t know about all them kind of people were called records and those days 45 speed. Believe the city next to that record player listening over and over and over again. I played it so much until I had to make an agreement with my aunt and uncle that I would play at one time before school and one time after I got off. I played it because my mother was desperately ill. I prayed because Jesus became more real to me. Watching your reactions tonight. Priceless. Watching what is this five generations now new to the music all over again by Edwin Hawkins. And his family the Hawkins family that 40 years later I remember once Sunday morning when Pastor came in and sat down I was thinking about oh happy day that morning. Maybe they played it on the radio, but absolutely was mine blown away as I gave him a hug and said good morning to think of that little girl playing that wrecker and think it started with a song but now I love to preach and he was getting me ready. I was talking to a friend of mine and telling them how funny Edwin is I still talk to them in present tense is still so unbelievable to me that they’re gone..
My job now is to tell you guys the stories. You know like when I ask you just in case you haven’t done it yet I’d love to see the reaction video on joyful joyful and you really can’t appreciate it if you don’t do both versions the one from the competition , and then how they transform it’ll be a little longer video but it’ll be so good a reactionary video. I wish you heard my voice I was saying boy people be making that thing viral. And just in case you’ve done it already I’ll take a second and go back and look for it. But you didn’t have nothing like this over there. Lol just a old lady walking down memory lane.🎉😂❤ BTW I still vote for at the very least community choir. We need to bring back the choir. It kept a whole Lotta kids out of trouble like me, but that’s another story on another day..

Funny story for you guys. Our church youth choir originally was one of the choirs to audition for the role of the choir. They made a different decision to go with bringing together all of a lot of who are our top gospel artist today like Jesse Campbell, Tanya B, Liz Lee, and then of course we know Lauryn Hill went on her her incredible beauty journey. Marching to Zion. ❤ The beautiful city of God. Bumps in the road we may have, but I’m going somewhere. It always felt when I listen to her saying and talk about her child.
Anyway, I was on my way to hear the other song and saw that advertisement for going to church I decided to take a peek see what you guys think, all these generations later from when it was our time in our youth. What was astonishing about it? Most of all got a couple of people in the film industry they said you gotta see this right after they finish the mix at the studio. And I could tell they were watching to see what I was going to say, and the thing was, they kept the camera moving to where they could get the angles of watching the Holy Spirit takeover the set and the room while they were filming. That’s what you actually saw the same for the other piece. Don’t you just love it when God shows up!
Just in case you never heard of or seen the movie with Steve Martin Leap of Faith, I highly recommend it. ❤
