Tanya blew it out the water. So glad she got her moment. I have been crying all day watching this. I love it so much!
Check out Tanya’s tribute to Patti Labelle this year too singing on my own!
Every time I see Whoppi cry at the end I cry omg the best reunion EVER...
I'm ok with Lauren not being there as it didn't overshadow the moments. This was extremely moving
A lot of people are feeling something special from the reunion performances. It's not just nostalgia... it's gospel music. It's spiritual. Also, the original arrangement of these songs musically are masterful. If they didn't win an award for the soundtrack, they should have.
It's just the nostalgia for some of us. That encompasses everything.
What happened was supposed to happen this way. I absolutely LOVE Lauryn Hill, but this time, for this season, for this day, it was meant for Tanya to lead ♥️🙌🏽 This was in my opinion, the greatest cast reunion number of all time!
If you a child bought up in the 90’s you have no idea what this movie and song meant to us. The nostalgia is unmatched. These are happy tears you guys. 😢
I was crying too while i saw it ! Childhood memories !!! Only the 90‘s kids understand this ! 💜
I’m crying every time I watch this. So much joy and gifted ness. Right there with you. ❤
This reunion has generated so much joy and nostalgia around the world in the last 48 hours…
This is my umpteenth time of watching it.
With all the bad news and disasters everywhere, this was just a moment that brought back great memories
I was 25 years old when I saw this movie 30 years ago. This reunion performance made me cry tears of JOY!! 🙏
The people that were supposed to be there were there. I loved the nostalgia and back story - brings back my HS days and have seen a lot of clips. I’m so glad Whoopi got to experience this while still living and some people are still here too! I do understand Whoopi’s expression. I want to now sit and watch the entire episode in order.
Thought I was the only one who got emotional at the end. This performance felt spiritual.
I recorded The View and have been watching this over-and-over since it aired. I’m impressed with the cast and in AWE of Whoopi’s love and gratitude of them!! My tears just keep flowing!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I think I have watched this like 50 times and cried!
I also was so mysteriously emotional as well my first time watching. I couldn't understand it, but now as more reactions are coming out, I see its a very common reaction to those of us who grew up with this movie. Plus, the song arrangement and the pure joy exuding from the performers burst through the screen. Probably the best reunion of any movie we will all see for a while. I was a teen when this came out, so it definitely brought me back to those days.
I was right there with ya 5:08 - 5:10 when the emotion of it all really starts hitting you and you just can't stop from tearing up!
I also have to give props to the other classmates who did the rap part in Frankayyy and Sketch’s place. They were AMAZING too ♥️♥️
Every damn time I watch this, I cry. I don't know why. They are happy tears. I always wondered what happened to the girl with the big voice. Tanya, gurl you blew it out of the water!!
i love the moment whoppi gets choked up and the fact her oldest grandaughter was in the 2nd row on stage singing and dancing with her mom and grandma
What? Who is she? I didn’t know Whoopi’s daughter was in the movie in the front row.
@@adrianaavila8853yep she’s the light skin girl in the braids wearing all black.
Girl took us to church yes
I was hysterically crying watching this. What an Amazing Episode of The View!!
I’m no crier by any means but this performance and my childhood nostalgia had me in a chokehold. My man was like damn babe, who died? 😂.
This is the first time this version of joyful joyful made me feel emotional, nostalgic and full of faith all at the same time.
It def was emotional but it was amazingly done... i loved this ❤️ ♥️

I've watched this 30 times, cried every time, and Lord. My girl Tanya Blount ( trotter), killed it! Fk Lauryn Hill. Hell! She don't show up to her own concerts! They did not need her! It was amazing. And they've just received the script for sister act 3! I can't wait 🫸!
