During Trial Resolution, at the 15:47, your explanation threw me for a loop. You pointed to all of the Orange Loyal Citizens and implied that there needed to be more of any ONE player color, when it fact, it is the total Loyal Citizens that needed to be greater than the Angry Citizens. Then you check in any one player color has more than anyone else, leftmost Loyal Citizen breaking ties. Hope that helps. Otherwise, very good teach!

Thank you! The publisher requested the video be as short as possible and highlighting the base game rules. Hoping they will upload the final rules pdf on BGG which should have all the extra/expansion info.

If you brew a practical potion during the loyal choice, do you get 3 points? Or is it only during brew action you get 3 points?
I had no idea this game was coming, i saw it at spiel and was tempted but i never buy games without doing some research, it looks really nice and i am a fan of mindclash so it is on the shortlist now

You may choose. You have to have the required amount when taking crowd picks at the end of trial phase

Great video, indeed a bit fast but I will just pause it frequently. 😉 The playthrough you did last year was very helpful too, but that was a prototype. What are the most important changes in the rules between this and the version in the playthrough (if any)?
Some card action descriptions which are the very core of the game have been buffed (move action for example let you move 4 times before, now its 3 + you get 1 adjacent ingredient along the way), the crowd picks near the trial chambers and the good luck tokens are entirely new, witch abilities are sometimes entirely different (mathilda's ability for example) and I think the trial winner had to take all their meeples back to their supply, now its only 2 meeples (which is better). Overall I would say they changed it for the better, you have more options and the balance has improved. In my first 2 player game I had 83 and the 2nd player 84 points. I was the one matching the hell out of the actions while the 2nd player was playing it safe, moving and focusing on different aspects without matching. So different playstyles are welcome:D

Sorry if I missed this, but is this the retail or deluxe version of the game? Just found out about this game and seems retail is the only version I could get.
In the video you see the retail version. The deluxe version was offered on gamefound.
@@Memmnarch1981 I was hoping that was the case because I pre-ordered the retail copy and couldn't find any photos or images to see the differences, only what was listed on the kickstarter page.

How would you rate the game out of 10??
Is it just me, or do the witch hunters seem very non-threatening? In our game they were inconsequential. It seems very easy to keep suspicion low and we didn’t have a single witch captured the entire game…
Like your videos, particularly your Dune playthroughs. As an official How to play, I think you should have slowed down a bit. You are clear but too fast to follow the explanations (for me). Will need to watch at least twice.
Theres a feature that let you slow down the pace of the video. You should give it a try:)

Thank you! It was important to the publisher that the video be condensed down to the 20-25 minute range. We put time stamps in the description to help find the areas that you may need to jump to in the future. Hope you have fun with your game! 😀

I don't know if this has already been said/asked but I wanted to ask a question that I have difficulty answering myself.
At the end of a round, we carry out the trial by drawing the faithful/opponents from the bag to put them in the 1st court. But if another witch is on the 2nd court:
- should we put the faithful/opponents of the 1st court back in the bag then draw for the 2nd trial,
- or should we leave the faithful/opponents drawn during the 1st trial when they are set up and continue with what is in the bag?
in the video, I see that the faithful/opponents are still in place when we talk about the 2nd trial, that makes me ask the question.

Je ne sais pas si ça a déjà été dit/demandé mais je voulais poser une question que j'ai du mal à répondre moi même .
lors de la fin d'un manche, nous réalisons le procès en piochant dans le sac les fidèles/opposants pour les mettre dans le 1er tribunal. Mais si une autre sorcière est sur le 2e tribunal :
- doit-on remettre les fidèles/opposants du 1er tribunal dans le sac puis piocher pour le 2e procès,
- ou doit-on laisser les fidèles/opposants piochés lors du 1er procès à leur emplacement et continuer avec ce qu'il y a dans le sac ?
dans la vidéo, je vois que les fidèles/opposants sont encore en place quand on parle du 2e procès, ça me fait poser la question .
