When someone is a narcissist, they will invent reasons to discard you, if they dont have a valid reason. Even if they dont have a good reason they could kid themselves about. Narcissists do not have long forward vision, as to a year, two years, five years in the future. They live for right now. As for the past, theyre like an F5 tornado. They dont even look back at the carnage or the wreckage they leave behind by their actions.
Yes, youre right about that too, Dave. These narcissists are like marionettes with the devil himself pulling their strings. So if it wasnt for "coffee breath", they'd find another reason, like your illnesses that they are afraid theyll have to stay around and help you through, when they can pull a healthy man out of their harem garage.
I actually one time had a young woman in my hometown named Nancy go so far as to tell me she couldn't go on a date with me, because she was " in an open relationship with one of the New Kids on the Block, and the reason she couldn't be with him that week is because he was in Fall River Massachusetts....."
I stopped her right there. I told her to "Cut the BS. So, long story short, you're not interested. Just tell me the truth and quit incriminating yourself, because with lies like that, one day you will "fall in The River" (Styx) and it won't be Massachusetts!"
That was 32 years ago, and that is submitted to demonstrate just how far the women in my hometown would go, to brush me off. But I have to admit, that was the more interesting lies I'd been told.
She worked at Jack in the Box flipping hamburgers, and I couldn't see her as a groupie of a band travelling to Chicago, and New York, and Miami, then Albuquerque and Las Vegas, from Hanford California, on a minimum wage fast food manager's salary.

Couldn't agree more. Narcissists are totally delusional and do and say anything and everything to fit their narrative. I refer to their narrative as a sick movie that plays in their heads in which they are the main character and audience. They must be praised and admired and entertained 24/7, just like a small child who can't validate themselves or aren't mature enough to be alone.
I knew a lady discarded after 20 years of marriage and two children. The reason given was that she was ‘too short’.
I was too tall. His last word to me to hurt me was on a text “ugly” and I respond3d “yes”
Or it’s just that she started seeing right through him.
I believe I was discarded for all types of reasons my car the bump was mess up, it didn't put him on a petal stool, his brother keep talking about all the women hie had, he love women with a big butt, this mad my ex husband mad because he wanted attention like his brother was doing going to women to women I was getting boring to him, matter what I did for him it wasn't enough, lm dark skinned, the sex was getting boring to him he made comments after all these years he wanted a new supply to validate him everyday amd his brother didn't make it no better that are old men's acting like this, my ex-husband got his half sister to find him a new woman friend knowing I was still around by his side I wasn't going to abandon him at all he just lost his mommy but I could believe why he did me like this no closure at at all. I need help right now😢

My narcissistic ex used me for everything I had and when I didn't benefit her anymore after my health failed and my savings were gone she was gone also I moved 900 miles away and I haven't heard from her in almost 3 years wish her the best but I wouldn't piss on her if she was on fire

My narc loves garlic but I'm allergic to it. We have to care 24/7 about his health while mine is totally ignored. That's why I go to Jesus to lead me to act wisely and eventually separate. hi…what helps me get over him is that I stopped using the word “mine” when referring to him. It’s a small point but it does help separate him from you in your heart and mind. He no longer is yours…he probably never was yours alone anyway!! God bless you on your journey to wellness!!!
When I heard you say “coffee breath” I felt so understood. I don’t drink coffee, so not literally, but how you meant it- as a trivial example of how gross or annoying you are for being human. Just throwing out whatever they can so they can discard and make it your fault. They do this during the relationship, pick at the smallest weird things that are sometimes not even true. Why should we expect they have anything legitimate at any point anyway. ? I struggle with the things I was criticized over. The expectations or human way of being. I pick myself apart wondering everything I should’ve done differently to be that perfect attractive person.
when my wife ghosted me, every email from her was vicious and gave a different reason for leaving me. So I created a list of everything wrong with me, so she could just pick from the list. There were like 60 items.. "I smell when I go to the bathroom", "I burned the dinner that one time", "I dated women and loved them before I ever met you, of course I should have never dated anyone before I met you at 42 years old" , "I spit toothpaste in the sink when brushing my teeth", etc etc etc. Funny, she never replied..
So much knowledge here. I've watch many videos concerning this disorder, but this channel really hits hard on certain points that nobody talks about.
Very good advice, thanks. It's sad that many people suffering from a narcissistic relationship spend money trying to repair their relationships. Most of the time total avoidance of that toxic person is what's needed.

I just thank God that i had the COURAGE to block him in every way possible. I loved him so much!! I cried for over 2 years. I changed my phone #, off social media, and finally, MOVED! This was over 12 year's ago. If he Googles me, my OLD address comes up. I feel back to my ol' self now! 👍

My ex triangulated me. I did not fight her. Ignored her yet had her removed from our private, gated neighborhood street.

I was in a Long distance relationship, married. When, I came home November 17. 2022, He told me it’s over, and that everything was my fault. it was so shocking, I was bewildered. He was so cold,calculated when he delivered his discard speech. He did not want me to touch, or kiss him. I sensed something was wrong. I asked him if there is someone. He told me there is no one and that He has no time for women. I came home 2x December trying to save the marriage but He was so adamant, and furious that It’s over because it was all my fault. 31 December I came home again, there!! I saw He was with a woman. He hoovered me March 2023 telling me it was all my imagination, that there was no woman invoived. I was able to make him admit the truth. He told me it’s over between him and the new supply. He lost his Job, He was depressed. I really don’t know if He got dumped or the new supply dumped him…

I never understood what a narc was until 5 mons ago. I have never been targeted before. I have dealt with mean people in my life but now I understand this narc stuff is completely different.

Oh this is spot on I just saw mine after 4 yrs he looks old and worn out skinny as hell he walked like a 90 yr old man and he's 67.yes for karma he deserves all the pain it can give to him fir what he did to me.
I started looking at this old meat suit and thinking……do I want to be with a toothless no steak deaf man who can’t afford his Medicare copays with a 15 yo that I pay for all while he abuses me, lusts and likely cheats while I work….. it was hard but I said “ok” when he abandoned me for the last time…..page turned…..chapter done….Now I focus on saving for my own retirement in the future

Watching this twice for double laughs lol. Geeeeze! I'm reminded of all the stupid fights with the narc before I turned into a Mrs. A. We had WWIII over a $10 meal I bought for a family member on Father’s Day. I cannot believe now that I even engaged in this fight. I should have left, but I was committed to the relationship, didn't feel this (and all the other petty fights) was a good enough justification for divorce, and honestly wasn't ready to leave the benefits of the marriage. Over three years no contact.
She randomly sent me an email.
It was Crisis Hoover, Bait and hook.
I read it.
I laughed.
I blocked her new email and moved on.
She worded the email in a way that left a lot of things, open ended and was offering a conversation in response as she was very vague in what she was asking.
Also, she was trying to get me to explain and justify certain things.
In one sense, her email seemed almost reasonable… so long as you ignored a few ridiculous statements that she made throughout it.
Passive aggressive and manipulative, her usual style with some odd bits of self soothing.
It has no merit and didn’t interest me.
It amusing to think about, who does she thing i am? How did she think a reply would come?
When she typed it out and pressed send, did she genuinely think she would get a reply?
No reply, silence, is a solid reply.

I thought we were "working on our relationship." We were separated. I fell asleep and missed his call, so he accused me of cheating and ended it. He had a new girlfriend by the next day.

Mine discarded me after a year, and I found out he had been seeing his ex-friends drug addict wife the whole time. He chose to go back to her.. not exactly an upgrade, so I figure he must be on drugs, as well.

@@teamjesus6383 well I started investigating his behaviors online and learned that he has NPD, all the way. My instincts told me to call his friend, who was a mutual friend of ours, and the conversation came up that I had been dating this clown. He then told me that the guy I was so in love with had been screwing his wife for the past two years, and had destroyed his family. Found out she was in jail when I looked her up online. Anyway, it's a hard pill to swallow, no pun, but I figure he must be a drug addicts, as well. These people all suck LOL

Being disabled, and dealing with the health and financial issues i deal with, I have always had this way of causing women out on a date, to suddenly "pull a boyfriend out of their cracker jack box, that they "hadn't seen in 20 years since college, but they met up just last week, and he has eight kids" anything to get rid of me on a date, or even as i meet someone new, and through conversation they learn of my issues, so they know that i do not have "resources" they can use, (like a stepping stone) until they find someone better.
With me, when i try to build a friendship with a woman nowadays, thats always but always the case. I used to get upset by the rejection, but now i consider it a gift from God, because my disabilities and lack "insulates" me from being used as that stepping stone to someone better.
Now, its too late for me to ever find love. I dont even believe in it now, because ive never experienced first hand for myself, what true love in a relationship is, because of my disabilities and financial lack. All I've seen is the negative side of love, that now I'm traumatized by it. It has never been as it was told to me. And since i have never found that true love in any woman out there, and my age, etc, i have NO cross reference for it.
It’s over rated. Happiest ppl I know including me are single.
I have MS, amongst other things, and I've found that Pets are the BEST Company Ever ! They Never Lie or Cheat, and Love Unconditionally, and are Warm to cuddle up with at night too ! ❤😊
