How to Plastic Weld Bumper Cover Using Nitro Welder

  • In this video I am using a Nitro #PlasticWelder to weld a tear or rip in a bumper cover. The filler rod will be added to both sides of the bumper cover. This is a simple process and speeds repair time considerably. This plastic welder is made by #dentfix. The welder is uses shop compressed air and converts the air to nitrogen.

    in addition, when there are cracks and splits i find it advantageous to drill a hole each end of the split so it cant travel any further when pressure is applied to it or vibrations.

      one word - Abram lol. They have been using the heck out of this one. This one does not take a bottle of gas. It converts compressed air into nitrogen. We just got our PDR tools, which is the same set-up we had at Bulter. The students are not as interested in learning that as the other things. It does take patience and time! How is your shop coming?

      @@CarAddictGarage The weather is starting to cooperate so I am hoping to get back on the Cuda in the next few weeks. Of course it needs washed before we can get back on body work.
