- A teenage girl and her two friends were robbed at gunpoint as the homeowners watched the terrifying home invasion on their Ring app. Video shows two armed men burst into the house in Pasadena, Texas, and order the three victims to the floor. One of the suspects lifted one of the teens by her hair and ordered her to another part of the house. As the robbery unfolded, the girl's parents, who were out for the evening, watched in horror on their cellphones as they screamed at the men through the camera.
There is nothing worse as a parent than to see your children in danger and you’re unable to help them. I could hear the fear in the father’s voice. Heartbreaking.

News articles say it was a male friend and a female cousin. Allegedly the robbers were stalking the neighborhood and saw the cousin entering the home and bum rushed in right after her.
Just wanted to clear that up and give a little more context. It’s scary to think some deranged individual(s) could be walking by as your simply entering your home and try to take advantage of that. Please be careful and aware of all of your surroundings 🙏🙏🙏

As a victim of a home invasion it is the scariest thing to go through. I was so traumatized I couldn't even remember how many men it was. I said 5 but my wife said 4. It was horrible to see a man with a t-shirt wrapped around his head with a shotgun pointed at me. All I could see was his eyes. It's was so scary. I hope these young people don't get ptsd. They were so lucky.

I just experienced a home invasion a few nights ago, I was face to face with one of them at 2am while my dad was asleep… all I said was “I didn’t see you, just go!!” And luckily it worked and they left immediately… I couldn’t imagine if the guy had a gun like this situation pointed at my head. Scary world
Seeing my children being scared for their lives, seeing my daughter being taken out of the room, and not being able to do anything about it would send me into a murderous rage out to rescue my family any cost! Nothing would be able to stop me at that point. I can't imagine the horror. Prayers out to the family

I hope that these kids can survive such an event. When the brother scooted closer to his sister, I cried. He could not do anything other than to be there for his sister. I am happy that the family had a ring camera and the father was able to speak to the robbers. I believe that those kids would have been badly wounded if not worse had their parents not intervened.

I was the victim of a home invasion 3 years ago and I still have panic attacks when I'm home alone. I had to get bars on the windows, an alarm system, cameras, and I still can't sleep with the windows open. I hope these kids get therapy ❤️ it's horrible feeling unsafe in your own home

bruh this is one of my worst fears, being home alone and someone breaking in. my dog sits on a chair and stares out of the window literally every single second that my mom is not home bc she has separation anxiety, so she is the only thing keeping me calm knowing that I'll hear her start barking if she even sees someone walk by our house.

Poor kids (and parents)! They’re going to be traumatized. When I was like 5 years old our house was broken into and I remember for at least a year having nightmares and not being able to sleep because I thought they’d come back!
My heart breaks for the parents having to see their kids go through this. We all know what would’ve happened to the daughter had the parents not scare them away. Thank GOD for those ring cameras.

Their security system proved to be priceless! This video would be a huge selling point for security systems linked to cell phones. Years ago something similar happened to a former co-worker's family but they didn't have a camera linked to their phones. They listed their house for sale within 48hrs, no-one in their family felt safe. They actually never spent another night in their home. Their 12yr old daughter was brutally attacked, raped and beaten. She suffered horrible brain trauma and paralysis. Such criminals deserve zero mercy ....... Life Without Parole or death - just 2 choices.
Actually they stole the guns and stuff they were there for and left they isolated a victim to guide them to the loot per day got it and we're gone they were going to be leaving regardless
Or to be shot dead by the home owner, who will be entitled to carry a fire arm that can match what the criminals carry

That girl Set the whole thing up, was the niece of the dad and basically let the guys in and left with them lol, not sure if they have found her yet.

You do realize how ridiculous you sound right? If you get drunk and enter the wrong home that can be deemed a home invasion. My neighbors sister went through his room so he broke into her room to get his things and the cops arrested him for burglary/home invasion.

Honestly, it’s a good thing that the parents weren’t home because they were able to contact the police. They would’ve all been in jeopardy if everyone had been home.

The dad started yelling as soon as they brought her to the other room in hopes to stop what could have happened. You can hear the fear in his voice based on that alone, leaving any care of the robbery behind at that point. It was moments before she was forced back to the living room and they left.

It would be such a hard decision to know if you should say something or not. I’d be so scared that startling the suspects or standing up to them would cause them to lash out and hurt one of the kids. These parents were so brave and their kids too. I’m just glad it didn’t escalate and no one was severely injured, I hope this family can heal from such a traumatic incident.
I said the same thing. This is have gone so wrong, because sometimes the robbers would kill the family out of spite. They were truly brave to speak up especially knowing by speaking up this could cause them to loose there kids.

They will probably not get punished severely if caught. That’s the sad thing. Makes my blood boil.
The absolute last thing I would do as a parent in this situation is yell at the intruders as my kids had an AR pointed at their heads. Absolutely a horrible idea.
