This is great! Im just reading Peter Davids hulk run in omnibus format for the first time ever. I just finished the first one and it's a really fun story. This has been one of my favorite issues so far, and I really love the Mr. Fix it stuff.

Todd was brilliant at cutting corners with, panels like Bruce's glasses, or he'll do a silhouette or a close up of an eye...😅🤷🏻its cool but he admitted to doing that because it, sometimes... looks cool, and he had a deadline he said. Its not always the artists fault if the art/panels are weak, its the writer..and the plot/dialogues they write. But Todd definitely makes rubbel and broken down walls, destruction look awesome.

Really every artist had their deadline deadline shortcuts. Kirby used the close up over and over to fill a quick panel. Easier to just draw a pair of eyes and nose.

I know I'm in the minority but ASM 300 is kind of ugly, with all those 300 in the background

@@WestCoastDAVEngers Im just guessing here but maybe the editor at the time wanted the #300 number all over. It takes so much of the actual art.
