The "adorable" old woman was played by June Hudson who was a costume designer in Tom Baker's later stories.
The Doctor running away and hiding from the danger was shown in both episodes, and it even surprises himself. That's definitely gonna be a plot point revisited down the road! My prediction is the Doctor is going to be the one Maestro mentions as being there at Ruby's birth, i.e. he will be revealed as being from the same realm as the Toymaker and his children/legions. Outside the universe. Scary stuff!
Maestro didnt just ham it up or chew the Scenery she torn apart the entire set and played a full symphony with it's remains
After Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' musical episode, it's most fitting that Doctor Who could have one. Jinkx is marvelous as Maestro. 🎶

I'm not a fan of another 'special' companion either. Guess we'll see where that goes. That said, I loved this episode. I was worried about RTD coming back but for me the good has far outweighed the bad so far.
It gets newer audiences invested in the mystery of Ruby.
That was great. Maestro will be back whenever personal pronoun likes. Notice we've had none of the Who am I? like we had with 12 and 13. Straight in. Whenever the Beatles are portrayed there's always 1 or 2 who bear no relation in looks or voice the the real thing. The Devil's triad is real
So now I know why I am not seeing the new Doctor Who episodes. I somehow just found out THAT DOCTOR WHO IS NO LONGER ON BBC AMERICA...BUT STREAMING ON DISNEY+!!! THANKS DISNEY😡 AND IT LOOKS LIKE STAR TREK:TNG IS ALSO NO LONGER ON BBC AMERICA!!! DA FUQ IS GOING ON WITH BBC AMERICA????

Season 2/15 or/40 if you count with Classic Who as a whole.
Great episode up until the singing and the dancing that bit turned me right off you can tell this is Disney Who.
