Cool stuffs as usual Nutty, but i guess manual installation is always the best so you have everything under control. Unfortunately we must check manually plugins updates, but it's best way in my opinion. Keep it up brother 💜
hey i have question , if i update my plugin move transition or other plugin, Will it have an impact on assets that have been set in obs such as move value and move source? and also if the plugin shader filter is updated, will it reset the settings that have been made in obs ? thanks a lot
For some reason this plugin updater isn't working for me i've tried putting it in several different folders but it seems like obs won't look at where i'm putting them at no idea where to find a resolution searched everywhere online.
I used for a bit and it is very convenient but the problem is that the person who created it is manually getting the update links and stuff for it to work. This is a problem because you're essentially trusting a stranger to put things in an installer for you, and they could accidentally pull a bad link and boom, you just installed malicious software. It seems unlikely that would ever happen but I think the security concerns put even more pressure on OBS for an official plugin repository and manager.
Developer of the Tool here! I understand your concerns, but the API is publicly available and the Program self is open source 😊 So if you weary about it, you can check it yourself :)
I used the OBS Pluginstaller to get all the plugins from your recent 10 best plugins video and a lot of them don't work :( . For example i add a shadowfilter and it makes my source disappear from view until i turn off the filter. This is the same for advanced mask, Composite blur, glow filter, and stroke filter. The pixel art filter does nothing at all

I have been using your other StreamUP OBS Plugin updater. Do I have to uninstall that first? It seems that both share some common features.
Does version 1 still work? That's what I have installed currently however, it hasn't shown any required updates in a few weeks now....

It should work with any OBS-Studio, but the plugins can be incompatible with older versions of OBS.
Does this also work with OBS Portable?
I use portable obs and yes, it does.
