I love how unapologetically the first bride loves herself and her style, it's so refreshing. You do you babe.
Give her credit for owning all the fakeness!
That is the way things are nowadays. Everyone is perfect and sees no need for change or growth.
Is nobody gonna talk about how joyful the first bride is ? I love her personality , so cheerfulâ€
Me too... what a pleasure to be around..
Yes, lovely woman. Nothing fake about her heart.
I want to be friends with her!
That girl is larger than life !!! A real beauty!!! She laughingly said she is " all fake" but she,s 100% the genuine article ... love her!!!đ
I love her family â€ïž
I LOVE it when people proudly own the so called "trashy" things, like hey, you do you! :)
"It takes a lot of money to look that cheap." ~Dolly Parton
I love the first group were like yeah we're fake as hell but they were literally so supportive and sweet to each other? Have the fake nails and tan, they are funny and nice people. Also first time I've ever seen this version finally stick to the budget.
The first bride was a joy. Her entourage, too.
Yes, she was. And I liked each dress too.
I will ignore the fake tan (and fake everything, she is happy tho" which is the most important) and will say that she is really joyful and vibrant, and how supportive her group is, lovely!!!
But you didnât ignore it though
The tan makes her look like a different race đđ
She is honest about who she is, and what she likes. Confidence like hers is attractive.
Love the first group. They really like each other, they're authentic.. and that's rare.
Pp
That first bride and her (slightly tangerine entourage đ) were a joy to watch! The bride looks stunning in her chosen dress and the encouragement from her friend & mum just made it all the more special. I wish her & her hubby a lifetime of happiness ahead...đđđ
For the 2nd bride, why did she give up on ballgowns so quickly? There are other ballgowns that have a smaller, more structured bust that cinch at the waist and then have a more poofy, fuller skirt. She would have looked great in one of those more classic types
She tried 3 different ones and she didnt like any, but I was thinking the same thing.. just give her more of a drop waist or something. Wish they would have showed the other 2 she tried so we could see!
This was not her best day and the sales lady also seemed out of it.
Drop waist totally with corset back
Exactly. There are ones that have a dropped waist that would show her figure, yet still give her the full ballgown skirt.
@@lovelivi1591 I was also thinking that they should put her in a drop waist. I always think big ball gowns when a bride mentions Disney.
That first bride đ°ââïž had the most amazing attitude, so positive.đđ
The first bride to be is just bubbly, positive and she looked gorgeous.
Her mother and friends were very supportive.
The second bride..????
Australia
What does that mean? Iâm confused ahaha
@@isla9908
My comment is in plain English..
It's late here and I cannot be bothered explaining something that is quite clearly printed..
Australia
@@avengernemesis7990 ohhhh I thought you said : the second bride is australia ... which didnt make any sense hahaha
@@isla9908 samee
@@avengernemesis7990 As an Australian living in Australia... I can tell you that the second bride is most certainly not Australain
So what I'm hearing from this is that Essex in the UK equals The Jersey Shore in the USA đ€Łđ€Ł
â
Basically đđ
If you haven't seen Geordie Shore, I highly recommend watching the earlier seasons.
Thank you for the explanation. I was wondering what the "Essex" context was. I never watched the Jersey Shore but by sheer osmosis I knew what it was. Her fake tan is definitely bad.
Got it in one! đđ
I really don't understand why the consultant brings out dresses that are well over budget, it's just not fair.
I read in the comments for the UK version that they GIVE the dress to the bride.
@@TK-ij2xi First I've heard about it !
@@TK-ij2xi I don't think they do, as when they are over budget it always seems to be an issue about paying
This shop seems to do that most ever time.
I love the chemistry in the first group. You can see that they're used to laugh with each other â€ïž
- "Fake everything"
đïžđđïž
**Me straight to the comments**
Was looking for salty comments. Was disappointed.
Second bride, why are you putting her in a dress over her budget????!!!! Her budget was â$1200 to $1500!â The fitted dress she put her in was over $1800. Iâm glad that she didnât fall in love and get it. đ
The consultant was a total disaster with this beautiful young bride.
whenever someone says they want princess but they want to show their figure, i immediately think DROPPED WAIST DROPPED WAIST DROPPED WAIST. why don't they put more brides in dropped waist gowns?
Cause it makes your legs look ridiculously short lol
They totally could have put her in a dropped waist ball gown and gotten the sale. Baffling that they didn't.
The first girl looks so beautiful and one of the first people Iâve seen that have a supportive family and is bubbly and friendly
Her friend is absolutely lovely, she really understands what the bride wants and feels. She is giving me Ross' fake tan episode vibes tho xD
First or 2nd bride? There are two brides in this episode.
Adeline Tan, did you see anyone who over did the spray tan in the 2nd bride's entourage?
"I'm an eight?!?!"
She must have counted Mississippi-ly.
If there's anything I've learned from watching say yes to the dress is that anybody can look good in bridal (as long as it's a good fit). So don't be afraid to try all the style of dresses.
Her mom has such a proud mom smile and its heartwarming
Loved the first bride and group. The mother is adorable
I donât sound or âlookâ like an Essex gal but my god I love seeing our Essex girls happy and bubbly! Weâve got our stereotypes but at least weâve made our mark negatively or positively â„ïž
I hope that the brides try on more than the clips shows. It is silly to expect to find your perfect dress when you've only tried on two and cry and be all disheartened if you don't. Especially if you have such a specific image of what you want.
They do try a lot of dresses behind the scenes
.
She is beautiful and such a character. Essex bling girl.
The first bride is gorgeous! Excellent personality, looks fab in all dresses.
So is the next bride! 2 English beauties
ok, for anyone judging about the fake tans, read this first:
all beauty standards are culturally, historically, and environmentally relative and usually prize whatever is hardest to attain and indicative of high class level in a given time and place. for example, if famine is pervasive in your culture then your beauty standard probably values fatness rather than thinness. being chubby in a famine-ridden place indicates that you have the class level necessary to attain lots of food compared to the lower classes who are starving.
now, england has on average 62 days worth of sunshine on average per year, that's less than 1 out of every 5 days. this means that (if you're white) unless you are working in agriculture and outdoors constantly, you're going to have pale skin. for much of england's history, pale skin was the beauty standard because it indicated that you were not toiling in the fields all day like the peasant class; instead, you had the wealth and status to stay indoors and have others do labor for you. all of that changed in the 20th century as agricultural work became more mechanized. men and women of lower and middle classes largely began to work indoors in manufacturing and service jobs. paleness was no longer an indicator of high status; being indoors became the rule and TANNESS became the exception. tanness was achieved by those who had the money and leisure time to go on holiday to warmer climates. that's why there's still a strong fake-tanning culture in parts of england today. for every beauty standard propagated by the upper class, there are shortcuts that the lower class will take to achieve a similar image without necessarily having the same resources.
so don't judge these women. for them, tanness is the epitome of beauty, and that's fine. they are lovely, warm, and kind people which is not always the case on this show. certainly if you're an american you have no leg to stand on because our beauty standards seesaw every five years or so. in fact i'm from alaska, which has a noticeable fake tanning culture for similar reasons of unattainability in such a cold and dark place.
(this is an outsider's understanding so if any UK folks know of additional factors please lmk)
I donât think people have an issue with tanning itself but that their tan looks too unnatural and orange and not necessarily a golden brown tan you get from being at the beach
@@user-qr6sl8zd4j right, that's what happens when you fake tan. it's largely unavoidable. and the women in the show specifically say they like the artificial look, so they are clearly aware. i'm not saying they themselves are trying to look natural and fresh off the beach, i'm saying that's the reason why tanning culture originated
Gez, you could use that comment as a graduate degree dissertation. Whew, honey, it was a bunch word salad. Fake tans look fake regardless of culture.
@@Razza1941 funny you'd say that since i am a phd student. anyways, is there anything you'd like me to clarify about the original comment? happy to help.
Writing this from a very hot UK.
Whilst what you write makes sense to me.
I'm going to enjoy this current heatwave then, knowing rain is forecast for Saturday. đ
First bride is such a gem of a human. Her entourage hands down so so lovely.
I just don't understand why people still do the fake tan thing, they just look an orange mess. She looks lovely though.
Trump made it fashionable?
I agree!
@@MsJubjubbird best reason NOT to do it!!
I wouldnât call her orange. Her friend yes but not her.
Dont be a hater, if she feels pretty with a fake tan, be happy for her!
Two words for the second bride⊠đđœ AUNTIE đđœ GOK
I don't understand why Kaleys budget was up to ÂŁ1200, and the 2nd dress was ÂŁ1800 or more. Way over the budget she wanted. I think the bridal consultant should have stuck within the ÂŁ1200 maximum .
It was 1200-1500, but I agree. But I feel like most shopping shows (house hunting, dress hunting, etc) always have that over the budget option because sometimes it's nice to spend more on something you like more than the other options
She literally said âdo we have a budget we need to be respectful ofâ then does that
i have a slight addiction to these
Girl you and me both. I don't even care if I ever get married. I just wanna put on a fancy dress lol
im gonna be back when there are more comments to shape mine LOL
I love how, no matter how high or low the budget is, the employees eagerly and without missing a beat have the âwe can find you a dress of your dreamsâ.
There are the few times where the dress winds up being VERY over budget, but more often than not, they do a great job.
Love the Essex girls! Down to earth, straight to the point and always having a laugh! Love love love!
Grandma's reaction was so pure with that second dress, almost made me cry lol.
The first brideâs figure looked amazing in the first dress but Iâm glad she got a dress that made her feel beautiful!
The 1st bride is AWESOME!!!!!
The friend of the Essex bride is the color of the Disney bride's hair
Guuurrrrlll
Oh no lmao đ
The second bride would look best in an Ivory color gown because of her hair color and skin tone.
Would love to hang out with her and the entourage. They are so positive and happy.
The second bride needs to go see Gok!
All the bridal consultants are so committed and supportive to the bride - have seen all the shows, I believe and the work these consultants are doing is đ
Such an uplifting episode of lovely ladies supporting the Bride and I love the spirit of the Bride.
The way the bride walked out in the second dress, you could tell it was THE DRESS. She was so excited and full of energy đđđ
First or second bride? There are two brides in this episode.
I'm actually a little disturbed by how many judge her for her fake tan. It's all anyone seems to bring up.
You're all perfect, right? You'd never use too much liner on the lower line or a hair style from high school, right? You'd never wear too much highlighter or wear a bikini when you have a fupa, right?
The judgement is shameful.
Wearing a bikini with a "fupa'' isn't wrong lmfao so I don't understand why that was even compared to ANYTHING tbh
Ummm you just judged people with a fupa and you speak about not judging others sorry not to offend you but I think you can wear bikini with a fupa and look amazing.
Ummm a Fupa is not comparableđ
I never noticed..but you are correct ...we quickly judge others ...to each their own.
Her fake tan wears her, washing out her hair color and it swallows her. I can barely see her facial features, smile and bright and beautiful eyes with her fake tan. She has pretty hair and face but I have a really hard time seeing that.
I absolutely adore a thick bride in a corset đ„°đ„°đ„° Just to watch their face light up when they see just how beautiful they really are đ those curves I'm jealous đ„° And bride two was just too cute , Disney princess all the way đ
The red headed girl is absolutely a beautiful woman đ„°đŻ She literally could play a princess at Disney!! Like sleeping beauty or rapunzel !! She is gorgeous!!
Mum's virgin joke won! âĄ
100%
the last dress 08:00 is absolutely stunning
"Essex - but in a nice way" LOL
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that the UK show routinely works to find dresses UNDER budget instead of over!
Which SYTTD UK show are you referring to?
Love the joy of the first bride and such a nice entourage. She would be a "hoot" to hang out with. I think the second bride needs to look through some bridal magazines and online. I'm sure she will find something she likes now she knows what both styles look like on her.
I love her honesty....what a breath if fresh air....bloody honesty always wins by my book.
Omg I love the first bride and her entourage absolutely positive love it
Loved the First Bride and her family! They were so cute!
I adore this bride! She's just 100% comfortable in her skin.
The first bride has just proven that bling doesnât have to be tacky. She looks perfect and beautiful xx
Love the first bride! She is accepting things as they are and not making excuses. What you see is what you get, and she is a super lady with a wonderful attitude. And she looked great!
The first group is just bubbly and warm and happy and the bride really radiates in her dress.
The second group came in with a critical vibe, all of them.
The mum and bestie in that first one are absolute gems.
everyone is so supportive â€ïž so sweet!!
The TV audience can't possibly see the whole appointment. They must have put more dresses on her, she couldn't possibly get that discouraged after only seeing two dresses?đł
That fake tan's hurting my eyes!
It's literally orange
I know
SAME!
LMAOO fr
Love the first bride, she's so bubbly.
The mum sounds like a hoot. The bride is bubbly :)
I LOVED that last dress on the last bride!!
Bride #2 was put in a ballgown where the bodice was cut too short at the waist. There's plenty of ballgowns that sit in the proper place!! She only tried 1 on and was led to believe that her dream silhouette didn't look good on her body?? Drove me mad!!! I hope she found her dream Disney Princess dress!!!
Love the first bride! She's so happy and bubbly and positive and I'm really glad she found the dress of her dreams. And what a lovely entourage she brought!
However, I just remembered another of the major reasons I hate strapless dresses so much. It gives the bride "back fat"; and I don't mean just this lady. Many, many people - even thinner women - look like they have back fat in a strapless because they have to pull it SO tight to keep it from falling down. If the dresses just had a bit of a strap, they could relax the corset part a bit and eliminate that. However, the dress itself is gorgeous!
Second bride - just because that first dress did absolutely nothing for her figure doesn't mean a better ball gown wouldn't have worked. To be honest, I wouldn't really even call that a ball gown; the bottom wasn't poofy enough for that. The second dress was REALLY flattering on her; I wish she had like it better (even thought it was strapless, LOL!).
Yes I agree I think even if the back of the corset was higher at the back it could eliminate the back fat look it is a lovely dress on her but I'm sure if she had side pictures taken she would be less happy I know I would.
I don't know why I'm addicted on watching this videos. It's not like anyone would like me anyways. Lmao.
Aww I loved the bride.. she 7s friendly seems kind and nice and owns who she is.. with a great sense of humour..
First or 2nd bride? There are two brides in this episode
.
Bride: My budget is 1,500
UK Consultant: No Problem!
Bride: My budget is 3,000
US Consultant: We got 2 dresses in that price range in our basement, hope you like one of them!
She so beautiful!! Lovely personality.
Bridey you are a complete breath of fresh air! Youâd be a wonderful neighbor.
I love the makeup on the second bride. She didn't plaster it on; her eyes are nicely defined and not overdone with ugly fake lashes; and she chose apricot tones that are absolutely perfect for her coloring and gorgeous Titian hair. She looks dynamite.
I love her energy, positive vibesđ€Șđđâșïžâșïž
at 8:44 I thought they were playing the Exorcist theme tune for a sec
I love the 1st dress on the 2nd bride! That is a beautiful ballgown.
Second - labeled third, dress a FABULOUS choice..đđđ
I love these ladies!! They look like tons of fun to have a girls night with!
Mom is orange. Bride is happy
I love her reaction 4:33 đđ
You telling me your not a virgin đ love her mum already and not even 1 minute into the video haha đ
Why is it that the cheaper gowns are so much nicer than the more expensive ones?!đ€·ââïžđâ€ïž
What kind of girl dreams of her wedding day her whole life? I never even wanted to ever get married when I was a girl. Such things never even crossed my mind. She is setting herself up for a big disappointment.
A lot of girls do. But they only imagine the wedding but not the marriage. Being bride is sort of similar as to being a princess for one day.
Literally 90% of girls do đđ
2nd bride...the second dress looked fabulous on her.. gorgeous!
Lovely mom and friends!!!
I love the first dress and also the bubbling first bride and her entourage
The second bride looks quite a bit like Elle Fanning
Why they always give the bride a dress that over budget..so đą
Because exploiting people is part of their fun. Itâs sad.
Why couldnt they show her in a drop waist to show her figure better???
Its not like they dont have lots more dresses!
(Katie is who I commented about)
Grandma is a trip!
Love them đâ€ïžâš
I like bling too. I think I prefer that over lace.
What a fun bride!!!
Love her personality đgood luck look beautiful
The first bride is so bubbly and happy!
She did look absolutely perfect in the dress she chose.
The second one is lucky she didnât want either dress.
Typical over budget sleight of hand.
Looks like Essex bling and Jersey shore bling are similar!
Did anyone find the dress the second bride finally wore on her wedding day? Iâm intrigued but canât find her on Google
Whether someone wants to tan or not is not for you to decide or understand. She, her Mum and her friend are so nice. Canât say the same about some of the other people weâve seen on this show who arenât tanned.
No one said their tan made them a bad person
She looks fabulous x
