I'm so sorry your building got taken over by evil men always the males. These males should be captured and kept first caring for plants, so they learn to grow their own food, second then when learned is to care for animals that feed you as well. A cow to care for or chickens, goats whatever suits the situation. Keep growing your men back to living. Most of all let them rent for fifty years or pick amount of years that will work for them to always keep their land & homes for a hundred years till they start paying back whatever it takes to make this work. With the liberties granted Mitch McConnell and his health conditions, I wouldn't be surprised if his situation warrants further scrutiny.
After all, he is one of the most senior senators in Congress, and if he can't perform his duties, it constitutes a severe abdication is his responsibilities (similar to Diane Feinstein) and his aides aren't doing him any favors in these regards by trying to sweep this under the rug.
At least Diane Feinstein's aides are willing to fill us in on the situation, whereas that is lacking from McConnell's aides who prefer to keep us in the dark.
After all, call a spade a spade at the end of the day.

itch McConnell as well as many other politicians are people who had served our country for years. They have a lifetime of service in their resume, it is our duty to honor their lives of service to build a better world.
But they need to quit when when it becomes apparent that health issues are interfering with your performance on the job.
My dad bought a piece of land in Florida back in the 90s. I'm glad he sold it. Not a safe place to live unfortunately.

I live in Gainesville Florida which is inland Southeast from ground zero of hurricane idalia. And I know how strong these small communities are around this area especially just north of me. If insurance is unusually high somewhere, it's probably because you're not supposed to live there. So if you choose to live there anyway and decide not to get insurance, it's your own fault.

Climate change doesn't discriminate like the government of Florida. Good thing the immigrants left the state, now it will be more difficult to get people to rebuild. Maybe they will appreciate more the help of good people.
We're in a strange crazy twilight zone where the world is warming, but one political party refutes the evidence, whistles for salvation, and resists any government efforts to mitigate the string of disasters lined up as a result of the warming climate. Hot air is life threatening, but most of us aren't equipped to breathe underwater. Florida is a prime example, a relatively low-lying peninsula of swamp land supported on a porous limestone base, with huge cities and mansions built at elevations just above sea level. Regardless of the cause, ice fields and glaciers are melting worldwide, the ocean level is rising, and there's no practical way to prevent the infrastructure in low-lying areas from being swamped--other than taking steps to control global warming.
It's a monstrous train wreck in slow motion, and it's probably already too late to take action, thanks to decades of political foot dragging. The insurance industry understands this. And they are pulling the plug on the insurance machine. However, Karma is still in motion. Washington DC is also built on swampland, just a few feet above the historical sea level. Within maybe 20 years, US representatives and congresspersons should expect to be sloshing around the halls of government in waders and cruising the tunnels wearing scuba gear.
People claiming total losses of contents, throwing away perferctly good furniture. They could donate it.
Well good they know that if they live on the water they should expect this. So why should everyone else come to their aid? It' is THEIR CHOICE to live in a stupid location.

The items may look good on video. Be assured though that they are destroyed. Just imagine wood items consumed by muddy, polluted water. Imagine the smells, bacteria and fungi growing in the wood. By wood I don't just mean timber but also any product made by fibre, organic and absorbable materials.
Why would they be throwing out furniture if it wasn't damaged? And fire insurance didn't seem like a scam when my parents collected it after our house burned down 20 years ago.
