I kind of love the lore situation in the Nephilim Sector, what with the Mechanicus, Vashtorr, the Silent King and...I forget which, but one of the other Necron leaders...all deciding to pick a fight in the area at once
This feels a little weird because for once you're reviewing it (or at least I'm watching your review) before I've had a chance to read it myself 🤣 As always I really enjoyed hearing your perspective though
On basing: I couldn't agree more. I guess it's one of the easiest and fastest ways to increase your model quality. I always base the model first, so I don't get tempted on not doing it after it's done.
Currently deciding if the mag is worth picking up as a complete noob, it sounds like it's got some good useful stuff in there, plus the stories are cool. Plus I suppose when I'm actually playing and not just learning to put models together and paint, I can always reference and look through them in the future.
@@psz5515 Decided to after about 300ish issues that they just take up way to much space and I don't want to have to move them any more. I also play no GW games and just use them to help develop games I do play.
White Dwarf magazine has been something of a yawn fest overall. There are snippets of interesting things here and there, but it feels like it has lost its appeal in the last year or so. For example: I think it is really cheap how they have simply been reposting campaign rules for Warcry. You get those rules if you bought the warband/supplement, seems like they are putting filler in just to pad out the pages in the magazine. YMMV.

"lots of different basing options"
What on earth do you mean? Goblin Green and sand is for bases.
Good review as always. I also hoped for some cool Darktide content, buyed it for the Kill Team cards instead.
Great review! I agree, basing first.
Yes…basing…it’s necessary. I need t pick up this issue tomorrow.

I always base first also =)
Thank you for the review. No Darktide content which I was hoping for. What about Epic Legions Imperialis, have they ever touched on that?
Nothing about Legions Imperialis on this one.

Even if it isnt useful to your specific needs, its so much fun if you're a lore guy or just like seeing the community aspects of it
Thanks for the WD wiews! 🤗
Thanks for the review.
The first issue I don’t buy in 12 years!
why?
