I am an experienced sewist, but I want to give my garments a more professional-looking finish. This channel is the best one I've found so far to teach me how to improve my sewing. I am very happy to have found you.

I am also always fascinated how everything is done by machine. I tend to sew any bulky, inaccessible or difficult corners by hand.

I just finished watching the 1st, design part of the video. This was such a fantastic perspective of how this works. I appreciate your time and helping us understand. I think it will help me take issues or make changes to items myself now and not be so afraid! THANK YOU 💙 🤗

The fitting part was very usefull!! Love it! Everybody says « do a mockup! » but nobody explains exactly what to do with that mockup 😅 Thank you very much for your videos, that’s a realy realy good job! And your designs are unique, they are different of what we see everywhere 😍😍😍
In a futur video, can you explain how do you choose interfacing and how do you put it on fabric? I have always problems with that… Thank you! 😊😊😊

Really enjoyed watching the hidden zipper installation and the fitting process! Fitting is the hardest and most time consuming aspect of sewing for me!

Just wondering if you would consider doing a new Bootstrap dress form tutorial, they seem to have updated their measurements to be much more detailed, and another dress form in the studio is always a bonus

The fitting process is very helpful, I am currently trying to make my own pattern and even though it is very different from this project, it really helped me to clearify a lot of things😊 thank you for everything, love your videos😍

Already love this jacket 💚 I'm quite curvy so it makes me very anxious about sewing tops :

Greetings, what type of interfacing was used? What is the proper name for the seam strips used (it resembles boning)? Thanks

A very interesting idea with the separate collar/lapel wrapping around the body and I'm looking forward to seeing the final jacket. However, as a professional tailor I'm very surprised that you're pressing this delicate fabric from the right side, and no press cloth in between either😮. This flattens the bobbles of the boucle and this can never be reversed, so in my eyes the fabric is ruined. To me this shiny flattened surface is extremely visible. A professional tailor would ONLY press from the backside, and probably on top of a loose piece of the boucle itself to prevent shine. There are quite a few other pressing/ironing tricks too but this is the most important. I'm sorry, I really don't want to criticise but your sewing is on a quite high level and I'm a little sad to see mistakes like this. The quality and techniques of THE PRESSING is one of the major factors in a truly professional tailored garment. Apart from that this looks very interesting ❤😊
