@@tylerwilliamsfloridarealestate go to bald point for Wade fishing. Too far a drive and too few fish to justify a trip to George island. Get some booties, walk out into the oyster beds during the end of a rising or begining of a falling tide and catch them up with crabs, shrimp, or mirolure.
Cut blue crabs for Black Drum. Maybe on shrimp, but guaranteed on Blue Crabs. At this bridge they bite more during the incoming. Get there before the tide change with fresh blue crab and a 24 dollar landing net from sports academy. You will hook up. Thanks for watching.
Absolutely! Caught a nice alligator gar that I had to use a bridge net for. And a nice tarpon I walked in! You just never know what you will reel in down there.@@ReelGuyTv
@@LLDWITHJ This was really the only time I fished it. The drum was all I caught although I only brought cut crab with me. It's really too far a drive for me.
Does anybody ever throw a castnet from that bridge or is it to high? I like catching mullet out of our rivers but the black rivers stay flooded so much now and the clear rivers stay full of idiots in airboats and they scare all the mullet.
@@60BloodyChamp60 Don't let me discourage you from trying. You never know. Early morning. Before the crowds show up. First part of the bridge close to shore. Might be the ticket. I've had the best luck getting in the water with them but everyone has different methods. My nets are small and light. So I rely on speed and distance. You might be sporting a large heavy net better for bridges, boats.
Nice fishjng
Hi Mike, They were some really big drum. Good thing you had a bridge net. Looks like you had great day. Take care and good luck, Mickey
Yall have had more luck in one day fishing that bay than I have my entire life. Good stuff yall! Never caught more than catfish and sand trout
I've only been there once but yea the only thing worth catching there is black drum.
I've caught pompano and a 6' blacktip shark from that bridge. Plus, the usual trout and small reds. Definitely more than just drum there.

Great video! What size reel, rod, hook (type and size) and what kind of line and test strength? Thanks.
Beautiful fish, looks like a blast! What kind of bait were you using? Did you happen to hear what was biting in the surf? Thanks for posting!!

Quick and easy pull of the line.

Crab is the best thing to catch them with@@ReelGuyTv
Why weren’t you guys keeping those Black Drum? You can have one over 24”...
Didn't want them. Just catching for fun.
What month was this ?… I’m headed there for vacation in late June 😂
They're always there when it's hot. Fish the bottom with cut crab, shrimp
What type of bite do you use?
Cut Blue crabs weighted on the bottom.

You can. I seldom did in the bridges of key west. The mullet see that net coming from a mile.
@@ReelGuyTv dang I always had better luck from the bridge, but I’ve never done from a high bridge. Maybe that was the difference
